Excellent location, clean rooms and very good breakfast. Our room and bathroom were a bit small but we made it work. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for two nights.

Changching

An unassuming property away from the crowds in early May. Still within walking distance to Skogafoss (save the parking fee). Self-checkin was super convenient. Breakfast had a variety of breads, cereals, hot items, skyr, yogurt, jam and toppings. Bathroom was a bit small but had all necessary pieces.

La habitación impecable, no tiene recepción, ni personal, es con auto check inn, si no te enviaron por mail un código para acceder hay que ir al hotel hermano cerca de la cascada, eso fue incómodo. Por lo demás todo estuvo excelente

Inside the property is very nice. It is great that they have a hot tub for relaxing at the end of the day. The room was very nice. The outside of the building is a little bit misleading because it looks like I could use an updating, but once you go in, it is perfect.

The online check in was fantastic, we accessed the room and it was clean and modern. The shower was warm and well needed after a long day hiking on the glacier. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel offers great value for money, and the staff truly go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My favourite part was the breakfast — served in a beautiful, cozy space, with plenty of delicious and varied options. Another highlight is the location: the hotel is just a short walk from the stunning Skógafoss waterfall. We loved it so much that we visited twice — once in the evening when we arrived, and again the next morning before continuing our journey. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the south of Iceland!

Just a place to stay and convenient to Skógafoss and the Fimm Trail. Clean, comfy beds and pillows. Great view of falls and aurora from windows. Breakfast was acceptable, simple breakfast food and limited offerings. Coffee was available 24/7. Outside needs some cleaning up but we were pleasantly surprised how nice the inside was. I’d stay here again. Can walk to the falls and the restaurant.

Hôtel de type self-checking in. Très facile d’accès. Propre et bien tenu. À deux pas de la chute de Skógafoss, point de départ de très beaux treks. Nous devions quitter tôt le matin et le personnel nous a préparé des boites à lunch puisque le déjeuner n’était servi qu’à 8:00. Très apprécié! En gros une excellente adresse avec un personnel très sympathique même s’ils ne sont pas sur place, ils sont très faciles à joindre…
