We had a great stay at Hotel Kría. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection to start the day. We also appreciated the laundry service, which was available for a reasonable fee and was very convenient during our trip. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. There was also plenty of easy parking. The location is excellent, with restaurants, cafés, and shopping all within easy walking distance, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in 5 hotels across Iceland and this was my overall favorite. Very new, clean, and high-quality with all the amenities, in an excellent walkable central Vik location. The mountain view rooms are a worthy upgrade with a really great view. Breakfast and dinner were both fantastic in the restaurant. Very nice to have a minifridge so we can keep a few cold groceries on hand.

Wonderful stay in Vik. Would appreciate keycard access from the door nearest the parking lot for luggage convenience, but otherwise perfect place.

We loved our stay! The hotel was clean, in a great location with a beautiful mountain view. The room was clean, and breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options. Plus, the hot water didn’t have that sulfur smell. Great experience overall!

Lovely staff, gorgeous views and easy to find! Dinning options were a little limited and very expensive but high quality for sure!

The entire Kria team was so helpful and friendly from the day we checked in to the day we left. Collin and Ester the bartenders made excellent apres Icelandic adventures cocktails and directed us to other unique experiences. Our room looked out to horses roaming in open fields with a view of The iconic Vik church. A big bonus is the location of the hotel which is very convenient to the Ring road. It also helped that the rooms are very quiet and have instant hot water and comfortable beds to relax after long days in Iceland.

I can’t say enough good things about out stay. This hotel is certainly a hidden gem if looking for a place to stay in Kiv. From the great location to the happy hour and wonderful breakfast. Our family started out in Kiv before finishing our trip in Reykjavík and we all agreed, we miss Hotel Kria. I highly recommend staying there.

We got in late-enjoying the endless days so the hotel was an even more welcoming retreat from a long day of traveling and sightseeing. Breakfast was also good especially with the dining room’s exposure to the mountains.
