Very nice and convenient stay within the Golden Circle. Midpoint between Thingvellir and Geysir/Gullfoss. The hotel is nice and they offer permanent station of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which are always a plus. The Laugarvatn Lake is right behind the hotel, making it a nice view for certain rooms. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Laugarvatn. The staff was incredibly accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near Geysir and other major Golden Circle attractions, which made exploring the area so easy. There’s also a path for a mountain hike right across from the hotel, which was a great bonus and made the stay even more memorable. The peaceful setting by the lake added to the experience, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again. They also have great coffee!!!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly! There is a restaurant 1 minute down the road, which was great. My only recommendation is maybe to add cups to the room so that guests may drink water from the two if they are thirsty. We even saw the northern lights from our room. Overall a great stay.

Huone oli oikein mukava ja siisti, ja sänky oli nukkumiseen hyvä. Samoin hotellin aamupala oli maukas ja riittoisa. Hotelli sijaitsee idyllisesti lähellä monia luonnonnähtävyyksiä, eli ajomatka niihin on lyhyt. Miinuksena ehkä se, että huoneessa ei ollut televisiota eikä jääkaappia. Se kannattaa ottaa huomioon omien eväiden kanssa.

Located close to numerous of the tourist spots in Golden circle. The outlook is stunning, great size rooms and amenities excellent quality. Staff were friendly and accommodating - highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Perfect location between Pingvellir National Park and Skokkur Geyser and Golfoss Waterfalls. Very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant and wonderful pizza just down the road. Don’t miss the Fontana Thermal Hot Springs! We were there the last day before closing for remodeling so we would love to return after reopening.

Small room with nice view of the lake was clean and well-designed with comfortable single beds. Dinner was tasty and breakfast buffet was nice. Staff super friendly. National park and Fontana hot springs so close and just amazing.
