We loved our stay at Loa’s Nest! The guesthouse is spotless and very well maintained. It is right off a main road and is in a convenient location. There are grocery stores and restaurant options nearby. The owner and staff are SO kind and welcoming. In the morning they provided coffee and made waffles with homemade jam. It was an amazing way to start our day. We would highly recommend Loa’s Nest!

We landed here after driving the golden circle to start our trip. The property is a little off the beaten path, but it's a wonderful spot. The building is solid, and even though it was windy and raining, you didn't feel like you were in storm. It was quiet, and the check in process was super easy. They even provided breakfast, which we unfortunately slept through. We would stay here again!

Had a great time at Loa’s Nest. Location was great but the best part was how friendly the owners were. Learnt a little bit about Icelandic culture and was an overall fantastic time. Would recommend!

This was a favorite stay during our travels in Iceland. The location was so pretty and quiet, the rooms and common spaces were clean, and Unnur provided a lot of useful travelling tips and local knowledge. There were games available in the common area, and free breakfast waffles in the morning. The hosts were very friendly. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This guesthouse is an absolute gem. The house itself is on one level, with a gravel driveway (plenty of parking) and a short walk to the front door. The floors inside are smooth and lintels between rooms are minimal. There are no stairs. The house has a large common area with tables, sofas, and a fridge with space for each guest. There is a well appointed small kitchen with an oven and stovetop and plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. There are some board games and plenty of space to play. We chatted with other guests in the common area, it was just a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Decor is clean and modern, with a relaxed vibe. The scenery is gorgeous. The area is quiet. The room itself had a comfortable bed with good linens. The bathroom shower has no barrier on the floor so you could potentially roll in if needed. Hosts are friendly. In the morning they serve waffles! There is coffee and tea available as well. I wish the proprietors every success in the world, they have created a truly special place.
