Aloha On The Ganges impressed me from the start because of the staff. I was greeted kindly, felt welcomed, and was shown the resort amenities by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff person. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately, often with someone coming right to my door whether to deliver a requested item or to pick up clothes for washing or to replace a broken item. I enjoyed the meals and found the wait staff willing to help me understand the dishes and suggest things I might like. They even made a box breakfast for me the morning I had to leave early. The spa and gift shops were of high quality, and again, staffed with friendly helpful people. The view of the Himalayan foothills and the Ganges river were extraordinary and access to the water was easy. I highly recommend this resort for cleanliness, attentiveness, and quality of things to do.

Right on the Ganges with amazing views of the river and able to down and touch the waters. Rooms are 3-4 star nice. Great spa. Great area and shopping up a hill.

This place is fantastic. First, the quality of the meals is extraordinary. I've eaten at Indian restaurants in both NY and London and this place measures up to the best of any of those places, and its all vegetarian. Second, the activities they have available are wonderful and (if you're a Westerner) wildly cheap. Third, the view of the Ganga is unmatched. Fourth, the property on which the hotel sits is far enough back from the main road (about 1/2 mile) so that you don't hear a thing. Fifth, the staff is wonderful and super accommodating. Sixth, it's super clean. Overall, a phenomenal place.

The location of this property is superb! The fact that we had the room facing the Ganges and easy access to the banks of the holy river makes it a truly remarkable place to visit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and humble. The buffet meals served at Aloha at the Ganges deserve a special mention. Chef Yogesh did a fabulous job catering to different palates and created exquisite cuisines for everyone. He even made a special chocolate pie for us and shared his "special homemade masala" recipe! Fantastic stay. Weather was pleasant. Cleanliness was good considering Covid environment. We loved this place as you are just on the Ganges. We will definitely come back. Hotel staff was very polite & the breakfast was very good.
