Merçi à Josy car elle nous a donné tous les renseignements nécessaires, de façon désintéressée, qui nous ont permis un super séjour dans cette ville . Adresse restaurant ( où nous aurions eu peur d'aller, vu le décor extérieur ;nous y avons fait un de nos cinq meilleurs repas pour un prix très, très correct ), visites à effectuer et dans les meilleures conditions possibles.Tous les détails et les pièges. à éviter pour la suite de notre parcours.Un renseignement sur les horaires des ferrys qui nous a fait découvrir les Backwaters pour 15 roupies (2 h 30 de traversée) vraiment super!!! Superbe journée. Merci encoreL'établissement

Stayed for one night as a stop over so didn't really get to explore the area but the room was lovely, large and airy. Large bed, towels and soap provided along with drinking water. A mosquito plug was provided. The bathroom was great, really clean and toilet paper was provided. The manager Shya (sorry if it is spelt wrong) was lovely, really helpful and made sure we were comfy. A booklet with things to do in the area was provided with some history of Kottayam which was nice to read. The only negatives were the WiFi wasn't strong and the tap to turn on the shower was really stiff, we were worried about breaking it but this problem was sorted out when we mentioned it.

It is a room in an unkempt old house, with no security at night. No breakfast included. Expedia showed three rooms, 2 AC rooms and one non AC. We booked AC room making full payment online. At the time of check out the caretaker asked us to pay extra money for the room, saying it is a special room. We felt it is too much for that kind of facility.
