Would certainly stay again, but check for a higher room because this hotel was full and I would ask for a higher room at reception, if id of delayed it they would because of our situation but it was only for one night. Excellent location, simple but clean bedrooms, excellent breakfast, beautiful surroundings in a quiet but very convenient location.. 10 minute walk from it pancreas 5 minute walk from easton and 10 minute walk to russell square or easton underground station 15 minute walk to theatre areas. Unfortunately our room was on the ground floor, next to the main entrance to that building, next to the stairs. We were unable to open curtains because people were constantly standing by the door or coming in and the noise of people running upstairs echoed, the floorboards were very creaky, so we were constantly heard people moving upstairs. Try and request a higher floor room as this disturbed us all night long. I was also surprised we were given this room as I was a single parent with a younger child and felt quite vulnerable in this room. I will remain again but make sure there is a better room. Maybe if I push it they will due to our situation but it was only for one night. breakfast was great, lots of options shame you cant have breakfast in the garden area it makes no sense why you cant! Reception is open 24 hours and the staff is very helpful with city knowledge

We spent christmas week with family there and found it genuinely good for the price you pay. Large, quiet rooms, professional front desk team, in a borough not too far from london places to be. You can actually book one uber per day and walk back to the hotel while visiting different places in the city. I had to say that we were a bit worried this wouldnt live up to our expectations before arriving. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, but we never had to complain about them due to regular checkups. Plus, we only had other customers to share. The only few things I would suggest to improve are better windows, they are actually old, and larger selections of food for breakfast. Yet, this is a place I would recommend to people wanting to be in London during such a lovely christmas week for reasonable prices.

Excellent value, great cleanliness, safe, and basic communication. This was ideal because I needed to be near the British library, which includes the pancreas. Singular single room with desk, bed, and useful furniture. No tea, coffee, or other tea. While there are some students, I'm not sure if it was one of them who woke me up at dawn with a video on his phone in the hallway outside my room, or a guest! I'm not sure whether one of them was a guest or a professor! The standard-fried food buffet, cereals, chopped fruit, and a coffee maker not great are all available for the price. They had a friendly service, and the shower was adequate because it was an institution. But overall, I'm extremely pleased with the deal.
