The hotel itself has been around for over 25 years and maintains wonderfully done wooden interiors to show for it. I wasn't expecting anything as good when I booked it however, the moment I walked in, I knew it was different. Rare to find such elegantly done woodwork in hotels. Excellent restaurant, good cook and an overall helpful, polite and capable staff. Except for the restaurant manager, everyone was ready to go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Had ample parking that's another rarity in the area. While everyone advertises parking, they hardly have enough.

We were having bedbugs in our bed! The room was small, the staff was unfriendly, the hotel was a bit old, and the surroundings were not very nice. I cannot recommend this hotel. The only positive thing I can mention is the restaurant. The food was also good and we had a very courteous waiter.

I had the privilege to stay at the Hotel Presence's Christmas Buffet lunch. A very serene and well-furnished setting. The hotel's food and beverage options were excellent, with a broad selection of regional and international cuisines. The hotel's dining room was excellent and well-presented as a star. The hotel employees were extremely polite and welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return to the hotel. Highly suggested for others.

I had a temple wedding at the neighbouring Devidev temple and was put up in this hotel which was centrally located, easily accessible to Mochi Metro and just a stones throw from Ernakulam North Railway junction. Contrary to some of the reviews below, I found the staff friendly and even willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our requests. The breakfast buffet spread was decent, and the rooms were squeaky clean. You get more than just value for what you pay here as a guest. Highly recommended for a no-frills budget hotel or a short business trip.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, the lobby looks really nice, but the room smells a bit bad, they said there was a leak. The room was good, but the whole place felt old, but it wasn't like that in a vintage good way, it was like a twisted aura. The rooftop restaurant was nice, and there is a beautiful view of the city.

Hotel Presidency Ernakulam was comfortable and overall the service was excellent. My only disappointment was the checkout process. My flight left at midnight so I gave plenty of notice about needing to settle my bill that evening.. it took way too long to make sure my invoice was correct, and then to find a payments machine that would accept an international credit card.

The hotel lobby is pleasant and roomy. It's all dark at night. I agree that the lights may be dimmed or just limited, but here it was completely dark. It appears to be instructed upon inquire from the personnel. We had trouble finding the lobby after leaving quite early in the morning. Despite calling them to turn it on, they would always switch off the water heater switch within minutes. Breakfast was on another level, and the food was from the ground floor, so it was cold and only limited. Poor service and the rooms do not live up to the lobby's initial appearance.

Location is not great. Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are Clean and Spacious. The Internet is very dead slow you can work while in this hotel, the breakfast was not good as well, I would expect more if I pay for it.
