Marriott Dallas Uptown is in a fantastic location. It was only a few minutes from all Dallas destinations and extremely close to world-class restaurants. The property is quite nice, with a great social area and bar area in the lobby, restaurant, and beautifully updated rooms. Due to cleanliness and craziness, my rating was two stars. My room and the motel appeared to be well-kept. My room's bathroom was the source of my concern. When I arrived, the floor was filthy. Hair was in the shower, chunks of dirt on the floor, and a toenail of what I could only wish was the previous visitor. The bathroom vent was also dusty. Due to the pandemic, the hotel consistently advertises going above and beyond for cleanliness. But, in my experience, it appears that there isn't a difference aside from the little plastic baggy they put over the remote. During my stay, I had few encounters with the hotel staff. All interactions appeared to be with cranky individuals, including the front desk, the bar, the valets, and, in particular, the attendants in the I lounge. The two women we encountered in the I lounge were simply nasty, bossy, and rude. I can readily look past a few bad encounters with people who are just having a rough day, but the ladies in the I lounge have nothing to

Although the hotel itself is well-appointed, contemporary, and in a convenient location, there were some details that made it an overall three-star hotel for me. First of all, if one is traveling and using the valet, they must enter through a dark and unwelcoming garage. There was no bellhop, and the parkers did not give us a warm greeting. We had to pick up our luggage on our own because we were on the high floor of the valet dungeon. The check-in employees were genuine but quick at doing their jobs. Our room was on a high floor with a lovely view of the area. It seemed clean and we are so thankful that the hotel is pet-friendly since we frequently travel with our two pugs. There are several safe walks to the hotel, and free goodies for guests at the coffee shop are a really thoughtful touch. We ordered room service the following morning, and while it was immediately delivered, the food was not warm, and the extra crispy bacon, as well as the potatoes and english muffins were stale and undercooked. We had a very limited meal at the lobby restaurant, but I'd suggest they acquire a poolside bar for warmer seasons or nice days. I think this is another example of skimpflation. Despite having a medical emergency at night, we had a great time. The security personnel and front desk personnel were incredibly kind and helpful to my husband and me during an unanticipated visit to the emergency room. We appreciated their kindness. Throughout our stay, the hotel was immaculate. The lobby is an interesting place to hang out and have a drink. Everyone treated us extremely well, and we wholeheartedly endorse this pleasant, quiet motel. Definitely coming back!.

Definitely, a place we will stay at again and again! Always a beautiful visit at this beautiful hotel! Jasmine, kyle and shea looked after my family very well and were very kind. Thank you for the best hospitality from you.
