Kohinoor Samurai Resort offers all the hospitality necessities a traveler seeks. From reservation, check in, stay, and check out, our experience has been enriching. My vijendra, the reservations general manager, was in charge of our discussions right from July to October until we stayed. He greeted all of our requests with a smile. Excellent hospitality quality for customer retention and new references. He will pick up your call, discuss it, and come up with a variety of options for your request. Many visitors will learn from him. He has a significant quality of being a friend, which enhances his client outreach. Important quality in the hospitality industry. The stay property is spread over 35 acres and you can enjoy the deck early in the morning for a stunning view of the sea. Instead of staying at Ganpatiphule, I strongly advise people to visit this property and have an amazing hospitality experience. A connecting steps road leads to the seashore. We walked down the road and had a great time. Hence credit must also be given to the chef. Having a great respect for religion. Hats off. The rooms are spacious, neat, and tidy. From reservation, check-in, check-out, and reservation general manager, my Vijendra was at the helm of our discussion from July to October until we remained. He greeted all of our requests with a smile. Excellent hospitality quality for customer retention and new reference. He will pick your call, discuss, and come up with many options for your request. Many will learn from him. Despite being on such a vast property, he has the important attribute of being a friend, which enhances his customer outreach. Hospitality is a key quality. The 35-acre stay property is spread out, and you may take advantage of the breathtaking sea view early in the morning. Instead of staying in ganpatiphule, I wholeheartedly suggest people visit this property and have a wonderful hospitality experience. There is a connection path leading to the shoreline from the deck. We experienced hiking on that street and had a fantastic time. From rooftop, there is a connecting pathway, so the chef will also receive credit for that. They also provided join food. This location's biggest draw is its location. It has a breathtaking sunset. The room was big and spotless. There are three distinct concerns, however. 1. Toy train was not operational. It is one of the advertised amenities, but it is not mentioned on the website or when booking. When we inquired, staff simply said it was not working on Tuesdays, but when we looked at the train and the tracks, it was clear that it had not been operating for a while and that the Thursday reason was just an excuse. Even if it is closed on Tuesdays, they should mention it clearly on the website or booking page etc. So people like us don't get let down. 2. The pool was in terrible condition. Water was dark green and had algae floating on the surface. Because the water was so dark, you couldn't see the pool's bottom. At least the kids' pool ought to have been clean. This is a serious health and hygiene issue. In addition, there were only 2 longer pool chairs on the entire pool deck, as a hotel that advertises itself as a 4 star hotel. 3. After charging a 4 star property rate, they anticipate that you will pay for an hour-long pool or table tennis game. Again, this is not mentioned on the website or on booking confirmation. I reserved it for my child's primary amenities. The toys train and pool were both complete failures.

Overall it was a good experience. However, the property is not well maintained. Everything is functional. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location and views are great. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food is good but not great.

I recently stayed for one day. The property is good at a prime position, about 2 km from the main city of Ratnagiri. There is a spacious bathtub in each room. We toured the property. We enjoyed the sea view at sunset from the hotel. Food was tasty, but there is still room to expand. Drying facilities for garments may be provided. The swimming pool must be kept up properly for a continuous water circulation to maintain. Overall we enjoyed our stay and got good value for the money spent.

Big rooms with most modern facilities. Swimming pool was big and very clean. Food served in breakfast was of good quality and taste. Good variety of items available in breakfast. The property ia huge, but don't wonder in late night. Some of the bath fittings and wall colouring needs to be repaired. The wifi is never working suggest to remove from the amenities.

Amazing hill view from the rooms, the pool, the sea and the city. Although outside the city but 10 mins drive and u r in the city. Rooms decently sized for the 3 of us. Bathroom needs a makeover though. Staff hospitable and courteous. Breakfast choice limited, was served on table probably due to lesser occupancy. But the location and the view mesmerising so you may ignore the rest.

This resort is NOT on a beach. It is on a hillside about a mile away if you can climb down the cliffs. It was probably a nice place 10-15 years ago, but has fallen into disrepair. The gardens were dead or dying, rust and chipped paint on walls, railings and refrigerator, garbage all around the buildings, and it appeared that they were feeding a pack of feral dogs on the property. The breakfast was terrible, dinner was ok. The staff were nice enough and seemed to try and make you comfortable. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Expedia says that you need not call hotel for booking confirmation, but believe me one should make a call. I did before 2 days of my travel and came to know that my stay was not confirmed even when my booking was confirmed by Expedia. My journey was disturbed. Thanks to hotel Ratnasagar who gave me immediate stay.
