Idyllic quiet location with views of the boats and waterways, extremely courteous, happy and helpful staff. Great food options in house and close enough to pick up a Tuk Tuk to head in to town as well. An ideal place to relax and unwind!

Very friendly staff, good South Indian food, close to shikara and house boat rides, traditional Kerala architecture of buildings. Very good Ayurvedic massage - that made my wife and I sleep for 12 hours straight. If you dont mind the 2 hour taxi ride from Cochin airport (like we did) - this is a great place to rest and re-energize.

Check in and check out was smooth. We booked lakeside Villa and our room was well maintained. The lakeside views from our room were gorgeous. Our stay was very pleasant. The staff of the property are courteous and friendly.

This is my second time to Punnamada and I am anxious to go back for a third. The location is far enough from town to offer tranquility, but close enough for convenience. The Lakeside rooms are worth every extra rupee. The staff will jump over the moon to please you without making a big production. Each and every one is wonderful.

If you are planning for a relaxed and a laid-back holiday in Allepey resorts then Punnamada resort is one of the best options with a calm neighborhood. We stayed there for two nights; the resort was traditional and they excel in providing a good service, Ayurveda massage and food. The resort is on the lake bed and we liked the everyday evening shikara ride for about an hour and on return they server us hot tea in the lake front. The authentic Angamali Shrimp gravy that I had for lunch was awesome and it’s a must try with their aappam.

Das gesamte Ressort ist wunderschön und die Lage direkt am See traumhaft!! Der Pool war sauber und ebenfalls prima. Außerdem hat uns die sehr freundliche und stets zuvorkommende Art und Weise des gesamten Personals besonders gefallen. Eine Blumenkette zur Begrüßung und ein echtes Abschiedskomitee...wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt! Ebenso gefiel uns sehr der Bereich mit Tischtennisplatte, Billard und den weiteren Spielen, dem kostenlosen Fahrradverleih, den wir gleich am ersten Abend nutzten, die ebenfalls kostenlose Hausboottour am Abend und und und... wir sind noch weiter durch Kerala gereist, aber im Punnamada Resorts fühlen wir uns mit Abstand am wohlsten!!!

Its an amazing hotel tucked away facing the lake. I loved the Aapams and the Mini Fishing Net. The facilities needed to be updated such as A/C & The Shower Head However it was a peaceful environment and the one room house boat was stunning

One of our best experiences ever all due to the staff at the resort. The staff went out of their way to assust and please. Cooking classes , yoga and evening tea were complimentary. The villa was cisy and lived the outdoor bathroom.

We arrived at night. Reception area was all lit up with candles. Quite big open air reception area with pond. We were taken to our rooms( they call them villas) ,very clean,very comfortable. In the morning woke up to a wonderful view. Nice spread for breakfast. I invited a few (10) friends for dinner one evening and the hotel laid out a super dinner. Everybody said it was the best dinner they had in india. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

Stayed in a lake facing room for one night. The view from this room was awesome. You get an unblocked view of the majestic Punnamada lake. In the morning you can see the house boats pass by. Took a speed boat ride arranged by the resort. This was really lovely as we covered a great swath of the lake and could see the famed Paddy field below the water level. Had dinner at the restaurant, the karimeen (Pearl spot) pollichathu was really succulent and the fresh scampi was grilled to perfection. Overall an excellent stay. Will surely come back for an extended stay. Lovely place.

Amazing resort with great accommodation, food & staff. Punnamada is an exceptional place to stay & unwind. The only thing that marred our experience was that the pool was having maintenance work being done to it, so we couldn't use it during our stay. Overall though, exceptional

Stayed in the duplex facing the pool 2 nights 7/7 - 7/9 by myself. Everything was so comfortable during my stay, smooth checking-in, very nice, clean room in a traditional 2 storied house, WiFi everywhere, Ayurveda massage, a day trip arrangement to a temple and the beach etc. The location is very good, on the beautiful lake side, and easy access to Alleppey town. Even I enjoyed cycling to the town. Every staff here is so nice, friendly, and kind. They never let up in their efforts to make my staying experience better and more comfortable. Even staff played table tennis and billiard with me when raining and I could not go outside. I would definitely come back to this hotel with my family if I visit Kerala again!

The resort is absolutely beautiful, the location, the layout, the historically built cottages everything was fantastic. Food and staff in the restaurant and housekeeping were extremely friendly. We had a view things that didn’t make the 5 star rating. 1.resort advertises that there is WIFI in the rooms and on the premises - wrong. No WIFI anywhere except in the lobby. 2. Was minibar in the room. Upon arrival, there was no fridge in the room, after a bit of a discussion they finally supplied a fridge. Fridge never even got cold until the next morning. 3. Hot water - didn’t get any hot water until the next morning. So, if you can’t commit to what you advertise, please delete it otherwise more guests will complain
