Helheten är mycket bra, vi har ingenting att klaga på. Fina rum, skön säng, bra dusch, god mat & bra service. Mysigt & grönt överallt & 3 bra pooler. Rent & snyggt. Nära till den fantastiska beachen & inte allt för långt till händelsernas centrum. Kommer säkert att återvända 🙏 Namaste!

Booked Online via Expedia. Confirmed by booking through phone and requested a sea facing room. But was informed that the one I booked was not sea facing, hence they would upgrade me when I arrived (depending on availability, fair enough!!). We were given a sea facing room when we arrived :) The room itself was spacious and clean. The manager was very courteous and accommodating. Food was great.

When I booked this hotel, I researched the area... Mandrem is the name of the village. It's set on a small hill as you approach by road and leading down to the beach one inside the hotel property. My flight arrived in Goa at 2:15am and reached the hotel by 3:30am after clearing Customs and the hour drive from the airport. You can get a pre-paid taxi to the hotel for approx $22 (cheaper on the way back to the airport). Check-in was smooth and luggage was carried to the cottage by the front desk attendant. He made sure everything in the room was in working order before leaving. When morning broke, the view from the cocowood cottage was just as pictured in hotels.com; breathtaking with the Indian Ocean and the river before you. There are several beach shacks near the hotel, with the famous "End of the World Restaurant" just meters from the hotel on the beach. The hotel's breakfast was included and nothing fancy but good. (had the omelette with toasts and masala tea) Roy and Lauren (restaurant supervisor and waiter were great and attentive) NOTE: because the cottages are built in an eco-friendly fashion, there are palm trees right over the cottages and in some cases, the cottage was built with the palm tree going thru the inside of the cottage like mine.... Expect a coconut or two to fall and hit the cottage's roof. :) Overall experience with this property, my room, the entire staff and the village was outstanding and cannot wait to return.

Overall, our stay at Riva was pleasant, the beach was very convenient and clean, the staff were courteous, helpful and the resort is as green and lush as you could imagine. The spa was great, and the gym facility was readily accessible and clean. The resort and restaurants themselves are great, but have some strange policies- the resort refuses to give you a second room key which makes the stay quite inconvenient. The rooms have a button for DND, which disables when you take the room key out from the slot to turn on power.

Had very large room with fantastic view of sea. Hotel grounds are excellent. Standard of room good but could do with some work to repair the leak from the bathroom which is causing damage to wall in bedroom. If going at xmas be warned about gala dinner cost which we were not pre advised about. Seemed strange that hotel guests had to pay 3500r each while outsiders got the dinner for 1500r!!

excellent location, wonderful ambiance,well planned and constructed good service, the only problem with the place was the rooms were not maintained well. as in the ac the door knobs switches were all faulty. other than that it was peace and serinity all over the place.

We were a group of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The disappointing factors were that the bed linens were not clean and were stained, wifi was also an issue to worry about. However, we just did not want to leave the resort and go sightseeing or partying out. The beach opposite to the resort is heavenly. The in house DJ was good. Very courteous staff including the security man and of course the well trained dogs. Food is good too. Overall stay was superb..Completely rejuvenated !! I strongly recommend this resort for a group of corporates looking for some place to chill and relax. Families will love this place too. Riva Beach resort we will definitely be back soon !!! :) Regards, Pleased visitor
