Beautiful property snd rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It has all the modern amenities while retaining the old school charm of such an old building. We loved the wood burning fire place in the room as well. Breakfast was really good and staff at breakfast place was very friendly and courteous and service was top notch. Afternoon high tea was also amazing. Property has a beautiful courtyard and several charming cottages and suites. Highly recommend staying here for Ooty visit

During our stay at the Savoy in Ooty, we were endlessly impressed with the level of service by all staff from the gardeners to the managers who were attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel is immaculate with rooms that reflect the heritage of the property while providing clean, well maintained and modern aspects that you want when travelling. The gardens are stunning and peaceful. The dining room provides superb food at reasonable prices. When Executive Chef, Emon Mukherjee, realised I wanted something simple, he made me the most perfect prawn and vegetable main course. The staff were brilliantly managed, with nothing being too much of a problem and with staff that remembered our room number, even when we couldn't! A special mention to Santosh, who not only remembered our room number but also what we ordered each time. When a sudden problem occurred with our original room, the staff and management couldn't have been quicker or more helpful in rectifying the situation efficiently and effectively. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and its exemplary staff.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Savoy run by the Taj. The service was excellent from all staff, and the food really delicious. The cool weather made our sojourn there all the more memorable, especially the time spent before the fireplace in the room.

Lovely hotel in Ooty. Hotel has been recently refurbished and the room was very nice. Lovely furnishings, comfy bed, spacious. Food was excellent and service was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellant service and staff. This even beats JW Marriott service experience. Just too good. All staff members are so well trained and nice that you feel like going back there just for that. Excellent location, good property and nice food, specially breakfast buffet.

Colonial style building in beautiful grounds. Older rooms but the atmosphere was great. Food and bar excellent with good service. Welcome drink much appreciated. Ooty has not kept as much of the old glamour as one might expect, but this hotel has. Expensive by local standards but worth it for a special night on the trip.

This is an old British Colonial Hill Station which was build in the early 20th century and has been turned into a hotel. It is rustic with lovely grounds and a delightful place to stay. Since the elevation is 7250 feet it is cool and the fire place was nice at night!

Stay at Taj Savoy was amazing. The hotel in itself is a sight-seeing delight. For those looking for a heritage stay in Ooty, look no further !! Do opt for a lawn/garden facing cottage - it enhances your stay. One not-so-good comment was from our cab driver - driver quarters was not too great and the place was dirty. What can be better: - Driver accommodation/facilities calls for a lot of improvement. Our cab driver had to sleep in the car for all 3 nights. - Wi-Fi was intermittent in our cottage. It was good at the reception though.

The Savoy exceeded our expectations. It was a quiet, relaxing, oasis with great facilities and the service was fantastic. The hotel has a great atmosphere and being there felt like being transported back in time. We stayed for 3 nights and ate every meal in the excellent dining room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Savoy to anyone visiting Ooty.
