This hotel is very close to the beach and the staff are extremely nice. I was able to check in at 8:30 AM with NO problem. The receptionists did not hesitate to let me use the phone for international calling when I lost my credit card and they made sure I needed nothing. Everyone was super friendly! The TV had a lot of English channels.

We had a great time at the shining sand beach. In between bag and calangute and easy access to local market, restaurants and local attractions. Helpful staff. A peaceful and comfortable place for families, couples and friends. Safe for children too.

Best hotel near Bag Beach. Sea is not visible from the room, but the restaurant is on the beach and while eating, you can enjoy amazing ocean waves views. What I like the most is the hospitality of the manager and all the staff. At request the manager allowed us early checking. Our room was on the first floor and was good with all necessary facilities like mini fridge, geyser, hot cattle, ac etc. The property has only 16 rooms and 3 4 cottages which are very close to the most popular Bag Beach. Before checking in we had breakfast at a sea front restaurant and being fascinated by it's sea facing location and direct access to the beach, we spent most of the time in the resort itself. Buffet offers a variety of delicious dishes, variety is absent. The restaurant's preparation was amazing. Every time we call for any service, the staff always responds with a smile. Staff behaves in such a way. Despite being very close to the beach, there was parking for 67 cars and scoot. So it's a complete package and I would return to this fantastic property.

Shining sands is a fantastic beach resort. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The best aspect is the proximity to the beach and relaxing on the beach side chairs. Indian Summers hotel which is next to the resort serves tasty food. The only area I would like management to improve is to reserve beach side chairs for resort guests instead of making them available to the general public. Other than that we had a great stay and would highly recommend this place for a family outing.

overall the stay was nice and th tree hotel staff are very hospitable and willing to help. The Wi-Fi did not work most of the time and the staff had no idea how to fix it. There was no chair or desk in the room, although the initial description indicated there would be. breakfast is not usually buffet style but you can order add much as you want of a few options. right on the beach. hammock and beach chairs. good AC. Many restaurants on the road nearby
