There is some work going on in the hotel or in an adjoining building, which makes for some loud noises in the mornings in some rooms. We moved rooms once and although the construction noise abated with the move, around 5:00/5:30 there is a large sound akin to a wrecking ball bouncing on concrete! We have gotten used to it by now but you may want to ensure you have a quiet room when you check-in. The location and staff, and the old architecture are worth the stay. The food, of course, is excellent. But nowhere else in Delhi can you go for an early morning walk or run along as tree-lined wide streets as in this neighborhood. Many of the old monuments are within easy reach. This is not your modern glass and steel tower; this is old world charm at its best. Give it a whirl. You will not be disappointed unless the old world holds no charms for you. Special shoutout to Rabia and Tina at the front desk, Than at Lutyens, Pramod in housekeeping, and Kamlesh 1 and Kamlesh 2!! A special shoutout to Vinod manning the door -- he is an honest, gracious, hardworking man who is an asset to the Claridges' team.

A beautiful colonial-style hotel full of character. The staff and hospitality were exceptional. The housekeeping team, especially Pramod, kept our room immaculate and provided excellent turndown service. The Front Office and Concierge teams were always helpful and professional. Fantastic stays at the Claridges during our trip to India. The property has been refurbished since my last visit and they have done a great job. Great rooms, pool, restaurants and spa. The staff are all very friendly and professional - special thanks to reception and all the spa staff - particularly the wonderful Ally. I definitely plan to stay there again on my next visit to Delhi.

I've traveled all over the world and this is one of the best hotels I've spent time in. Kamlesh Tewari helped my wife and I with all the restaurants. The breakfast staff stood out every day and was excellent. We stayed in room 333 and Prakash always made sure our room was perfect and he was extremely welcoming. Truly everyone was so welcoming and kind. Congratulations to the management team for putting together such a great staff.

I was thoroughly surprised by the whole experience - stayed at a number of hotels in India and this was by far the best experience I have had I would like to especially give a mention to Ching and Aarti on the front desk who helped me with anything I needed, Bhupender who whenever we came downstairs was always courteous and asked how me and my father were getting on and finally Sonuiddeen who would help me get my coffee fix and on the last day when I wasn't well gave me some items at breakfast that brought me back to life! The only place I will be looking to stay when next in Delhi and highly recommend this property

Our family stayed there for six nights and loved it. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel has some delicious restaurants. Our son got Delhi belly after playing Holi with some family members and getting sprayed in the face with hose water. We were able to order some specific food that he needed at The Claridges to help his stomach with no problem. They are happy to accommodate. We will definitely stay there again.

Ching the Duty Manager is incredible. She is definitely the go-to person to make your stay at the Claridges a wonderful one. So friendly and helpful. The Claridges feels like a private oasis in a very busy capitol.
