I had the pleasure of staying at The Sonnet, Bidhannagar from December 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the exceptional staff at the reception, who ensured a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. Their professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail set the tone for a truly delightful stay. Throughout my time at The Sonnet, I was continually impressed by the impeccable hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was room service, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, everyone was friendly, efficient, and always eager to help with a smile. The rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with all modern amenities, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, offering a variety of choices that catered to different tastes. The quality of service, both in the restaurant and in-room dining, was exemplary. A special mention to the reception team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. They were always available to assist with any queries, from travel arrangements to local recommendations, ensuring that I had a seamless experience. Overall, my stay at The Sonnet was exceptional, thanks to the wonderful staff, top-notch hospitality, and excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kolkata.

We stayed in Sonnet for multiple during our trip to India. Starting from management to all staff members be in the restaurant to doormen, everyone was extremely friendly and courteous. The rooms were clean and spacious and cleaning staff were always available in a moment’s notice. I was very impressed with the quick response and speed of execution.

This Hotel is very conveniently located close to transport, shopping, restaurants and offers a good dining and bar facility and Gym. The pool was closed due to covid-19 restrictions. The staff is really helpful. Conveniently located is a hospital next door where it was convenient to get a PCR test. The Hotel is however showing some wear and tear and needs some makeover.

I had my money stolen while visiting Belur Math and the hotel management on all levels were so helpful and kind and companied me through the difficult process of making a statement at the police station. Also for taking care of me by giving me room serve for the evening meal. A big thank you to everyone.

From the moment I was retrieved from the Kolkata airport until I left the hotel 5 days later, the staff of the Sonnet did everything possible to make me feel truly cared for. Each staff quickly learned my name and my daily preferences, seeking to anticipate my needs in advance of my having to ask. Maneesha was especially helpful throughout my stay, and I depended upon her assistance for many things, even sending another staffer to escort me to a nearby pharmacy. This hotel is conveniently located for airport connections, and they can arrange car and driver for reasonable price to take you into downtown Kolkata for sight seeing. The size of this hotel lends itself to the very thoughtful personalized service. I recommend it highly.
