Tall trees is an amazing resort immersed in nature! A relaxing and scenic environment with many wonderful activities such as nature hike, tea tasting and evening bon fires. The restaurant has amazing food. Highly recommend!

We flipping loved Tall Trees, everything from the staff, restaurant, accommodation, location and surroundings. A global agency cocked up on our booking but the TTR team saved the day with the minimum of fuss and most amount of care. Would recommend to couples and families alike.

Beautiful place amongst the trees. They have excellent guided walks in the morning and evening. The food was very good and the staff very helpful. It is unfortunate that there is no bar but the law in India now is not helping the hotel or off licence trade. The local highlights were the cardamom trees, coffee trees, tea plantation, giant squirrels and the Malabar Whistling Thrush which were on site or a short walk away. Go and stay and if you go to Munnar you must go to the tea museum and the Srishti Trust where they dye and block print their own fabric, make scarves and strawberry jam.

Great position in the middle of tea and cardamom plantations. Lovely views. Restaurant, although a bit of a trek to reach, is very good. We ate A La Carte one night and the prawns were superb! Chalets nicely positioned and we managed to get a free upgrade to a Saffron room which was very spacious and had a newly renovated bathroom.

The location was gorgeous nestled amidst 'tall trees' in the hills of Munnar. The road to the resort wasn't that great but once you got there, it was totally worth the bumpy ride. The property was well designed and the flora was local and lovely.

It was a fantastic excursion. The staff was very friendly. The cuisine was also wonderful. The way the resort has been designed and built is just too good. The property is just amazing and overall we were sad to leave after our vacations. Gunnar is a good chance from city life.

We remained in tall trees during the first week of October. It is a beautiful property with lots of activities for children and adults. Within 500 meters there is a tea garden and the morning mist makes them even more breath-taking. The stay was made comfortable by the staff's behavior and helpful attitude. Kudos to all for keeping the charm and beauty we had experienced many years ago.

Overall, it was a very memorable stay here. Staff are very helpful and cooperative and the most amazing thing is the location of resort view from the balcony so amazing. Tracking provided by resort was very interesting. Breakfast is very healthy and full of verifications.

I will definitely come back to stay here. Lovely view from the balcony. I have clean rooms. The room is surrounded by trees. There are nighttime camp fire activities. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor games options for kids. The food was excellent.

The resort was wonderful, and the food was great, but the service is what we really value. The resort was quick to transport us to thetata high hill hospital for treatment even though one of our family members suddenly became ill. I would especially like to point out the name of Mathew at the front desk, who promptly escorted us by himself and a security guard at 10 p.m. and promptly delivered treatment, ensuring our complete vacation. Regardless of the fact that most resorts are rated on comfort and sophistication, this genuine kindness is something I would always remember while we were on our trip. While we stayed in some top-notch star hotels, this service orientation really stands out. Thank you, tall trees.

Warm welcome, staff was welcoming and helpful, property was nice and relaxing, food was great. It was all about service and food, rooms were dated, had some issues, had to report number of things, most were fixed next day. Raised a partial refund request, was rejected despite issues reported. Hotels.com credited some amount back. Property - 5 star Service - 5 star Rooms - 3.5

This is a lovely property. It’s quiet, the rooms are nicely furnished with good amenities, bathroom is great, balcony and living area all good. Room service and restaurant are both excellent. Service from all staff is professional, friendly, warm and helpful. I would stay here again, thank you.

2 days here were enough for us to feel relaxed and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were excellent and food was good with a wide variety. As we were hoping to do bird photography and didn’t see many birds amongst the tall trees so we were a little disappointed. But all in all it’s a beautiful resort if relaxation and quiet time are what you need.
