Loved the ambience of the hotel. Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for family vacations or couples. Food was delicious with various options. Dessert was classy and great. Hats off to the chef! Overall, great experience.

The Tamara Kodai is a nice property with good rooms and facilities. The restaurant and buffet selection is very good. The staff is excellent. There are places that are in walkable distance and there is a beautiful lake nearby where you can go boating. The weather is also good since the elevation is 7500 feet above sea-level. Great property and nice place to visit for a few days!

Had such a great time with Tamara. Hands down one of the best experience in Kodai. The property is truly top notch in every way and the staff goes above and beyond to keep you satisfied. In particular, the trek and travel guide Mr.Ravi was phenomenal and I thoroughly enjoyed my trek experience with him. He is able to identify every flora and fauna and wildlife in the region and carries a rich wisdom of history. I highly recommend taking a trip with him!

Service, and staff were amazing! Special mention of Mani along with all staff (Parismita, Ramika, Priya, & guy from Darjeeling!!) in the kitchen for his efficient, friendly & prompt service, is worth noting!!

We gather for a family vacation every 23 years, and this year it was today! Our travel agency helped us choose this place, and we couldn't have asked for better. The hotel had a great atmosphere, very yummy for which kids and elderly alike enjoyed, and it had courteous and friendly staff. We can talk about our vacation at Tamara for a while, and we are grateful to the entire staff. We want to especially thank the manager of Prince Fi and his staff, my. Ravi, who is a fantastic singer who kept us up all the time, and many others who made our stay the best! Team Tamara, many thanks, do. O. T. George and family.

I would come back to this hotel again. The location is quite far from anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped my husband make a surprise candlelight dinner for my birthday, and I was really amazed by the efforts and care they gave to make it happen. Thanks to the employees here!

The tamara in Kodaikanal is a beautiful century-old villa that has been converted into a stylish hotel. The home is pleasant and in a strategic location. There is a stunning one-hour walk to the lake if you enjoy walking. The rooms are in hillside villas. Each villa has four suites, two on the lower level and two on the higher level. The upper level suites have a majority of reviews, whereas the lower level suites at least some have panoramic views of the hills. If that matters, it's preferable to reserve the higher floor suites. The house has a well-kept, heated pool, which is a fantastic feature. The breakfast buffet is tasty, and the men at the live counter eggsdosas were consistently cheerful and competent. The spa is well designed and competently run. The rest of the staff, particularly staff at the desk and restaurants, appeared to be a little untrained and stumbling in their efforts to provide service. However, the secondlevel staff often made up suresh in the front office, the Fbi driver, and the housekeeping crew were all very service-oriented. The meal was delicious, but it wasn't memorable. Based on previous evaluations, in some ways, we probably had set our high hopes too high. We switched to the buffet on the last

The location of this resort is in Kodaikanal. It is located on a mountain. Basically a monastery but turned into a resort. Plus the service was good, booking was seamless thanks to Ranveer Ahmed. And the food was awesome. We thank the chef Lala and Karthik for their help in shooting and transport.

I would rather stay here again. We stayed in Tara for 2 nights during the bug month extended weekend. We found the rooms to be quite small and the room layout also didn't help. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub. The prices per night were north of the normal 1. 5 price. Our corner room on the ground floor is on the terrace, which gives a dull view. Our balcony view was covered with fences and bordering on other houses due to the corner room. But don't expect a better view from another room either. I've been to some fantastic resorts doors door wilderness, developed back champi at a lower price and a larger room size than the tamara.

while the place looks quite OK, the accessibility to town without own transport is a challenge, the rooms are pretty normal for any Indian from a traditional village probably aimed at tourist from outside India. There is a high tea on site every day the staff are enthusiastic to meet you on the first day but if they see you again the next day they don't even approach to meet you, the oil in the food did definitely cause some problem to my stomach .pretty normal hotel but with big price tag

Room rates expensive and nothing exceptional surrounding beauty We booked 3 rooms and were given rooms facing rain water storage dam!!! Mosquitoes breeding site We complained and were moved to other location. A la Carter restaurant at dinner we were the only people and very pricey and tasteless food
