I recently stayed at Welcomhotel Katra for two nights. While the overall experience was pleasant, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. To start with, the check-in process was disappointing. Although I arrived about 60 minutes later than expected, the hotel still took another 30–35 minutes to hand over the room keys, which wasn’t a great start. The room provided was comfortable, but I was a bit let down again as I had specifically requested a room with a good view — unfortunately, that wasn’t fulfilled. However, as my stay progressed, the warmth and hospitality of the hotel staff made a real difference. I spent most of my time at the property and would still recommend this hotel primarily because of the amazing staff. Everyone was polite and helpful — so much so that if I start naming people, I’ll have to mention almost everyone! Still, I must give a special mention to Mr.Jagdev, who stood out with his humility and dedication. His service truly made a mark. The chef Mr Ankit also deserves appreciation — every meal was cooked to perfection and exactly as per our preferences. To sum it up, no hotel is perfect, and this one isn’t either. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, staff-friendly place in Katra, this is a good pick — you won’t regret it. I would just request the management to introduce more in-house activities to keep guests engaged during their stay.

The stay was fantastic , the bed was good , but personally not use to sleeping on soft beds , but no complaints , everything was good , the staff is excellent , food is decent , overall all good

I would definitely stay again in this place. Besides that, the view from the hotel is excellent, without the need to make my food taste like I will never eat again. Plus, there's a lot of food to choose from. The service is satisfactory and the room service is also a plus. The personnel's skill is also impressive. Happy New Year's Eve.

I have been visiting Katra with my parents since I was born, and the itc welcome hotel is a fantastic example of how hospitality has improved in Katra and the shrine board Vaishnodevi. Huge thank you to all the staff, including Sashay, Nandini, Dark, Memorable, and Chef, who have been very friendly throughout our visit. All our requests were met without any hesitation.

We stay at the welcomeitc for our journey to Vaishnodevi Kaitra. Service and assistance are excellent. The whole staff is very polite and helpful in every way. I would like to mention some people like Josh, Vijay and Kumar. They made sure we have a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

One of the top hotels in Katra, serving delicious food in a lovely atmosphere. Even if it is without onion or garlic, the food here is really tasty. Also, the staff here is very polite and helpful, especially Sashay, rabbit, vishal and rakesh.
