The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, even after working hours. We found someone who didnt take us as tourists but rather as part of their family. This is the reason why we felt safe and calm even when there was a volcano eruption. Highly recommended!.

I heartily suggest a stay here. Being an extremely picky australian, i stayed at angel house ubud multiple times. I will be returning in July 2023 for a 14day stay after my last visit in may or july 2023. With excellent service from the hosts and staff, who are more than willing to assist you with anything you might need, a fantastic breakfast with five courses, sour dough bread, and faster wifi than in my home, you can also schedule a sour dough making lesson. You will find this to be the ideal place to stay if you include massages and guided tours arranged for you. Comfort and culture woven into 5star service. You are both quiet and isolated, and it takes 20 minutes to drive to ubud, which sees you surrounded by culture and a variety of activities. If you want to swim in the sea, it takes 60 minutes to drive to sanur, for example. This property is a pleasure to stay at because it is surrounded by local wood carvers, rice fields, fantastic warungs, and coffee.

I cant recommend this place enough. I couldnt have chosen a better place to stay in ubud. The location was a bit out of town, so not too noisy or frenetic. The hotel itself is comfortable - 3 selfcontained private villa style rooms - clean, beautifully decorated and relaxed. The staff were very friendly, and the owners, angel and rod, originally from Melbourne, were very friendly and really helpful in answering questions about what to do, where to go, and how to get there. Breakfast here is worth it.

We are currently on our honeymoon and wow what a place. Its just before mas ubud in mas ubud, down a small alley, and the place is absolutely amazing. We are staying in the jepun room, which is gorgeous, has a comfortable bed, and has everything you could possibly need in the room. The garden is a paradise for gardeners, and there is a lovely pool to top it off, making it very relaxing. The breakfast is the best ive had since coming here, and the owner, annie, makes her own bread, which is delicious, and everything is locally sourced as annie likes to support the local community. In a nutshell, this place is more than 5 stars because annie and her team exceed my expectations and exceed my expectations. I am one picky english tourist, so if youre unsure about booking here, dont worry, its definitely a thumbs up from me.

Excellent experience! I initially reserved two nights, but i ended up staying three more. Three accommodations are located around this charming, tiny garden, which has a refreshing swimming pool with clean, fresh water, perfect for a morning swim or after a day of sightseeing. Everything was flawless, the staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional, and the breakfast is delicious, made with organic ingredients and primarily homemade. The bedding is quite cozy. The rooms are meticulously kept, and the garden is wellkept. The house is situated in Mas, a 10 to 15minute drive from the center of ubud, making it the ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful and welcoming environment. The best option is to rent a scooter to explore ubud and explore the city, or the staff can arrange for dropoff and pickup to and from ubud. If you need to do some work, the internet is excellent and quick. So, if youre looking for a welcoming, cozy, and quiet environment, look no further, this is the place for you! Thank you for a wonderful time spent there!.

Its well worth the trip! Anger house is a fantastic place to stay. Amazingly helpful staff and hosts. Delicious, tasty, and nutritious breakfasts are offered. Unwind by the pool, talk to the hosts, who are quite knowledgeable about the area, and unwind once more.

We would definitely stay at angle house again in Peter, melbourne, australia. The breakfast was delicious. The wifi was excellent. The pool was great for the kids, and we were close by and able to relax and watch them. Annie and her team are very helpful and friendly. Annie gave us great advice on places to see and do.

I recently got back from a fournight stay at angel house with my extended family, who were visiting bali for the first time. Overall, it was fantastic, with excellent service from the villa staff, and great value for money. The beautiful garden and pool were a pleasure to return to after a busy day. Vinna, kadek, and ibu wayan looked after us as if we were family. Nothing too much trouble. Arrangemented massages by the poolside and excursions. Breakfast with a smile. Always reachable. Incredible value for money. The location has some decent coffee (art lounge, segelas kopi, karambia, and local restaurants within walking distance. There is also a really nice walk recommended that will take you through rice fields and local villages. Small operation that is environmentally conscious and supports the local community. Smaller than it appears on the website. No different from 90% of all hotels. The common areas, dining area, and lounge, are locked after noon. It would have been nice to have them available all day so we could sit around the dining table with our family or enjoy the library area. Villa staff only operate in the morning, which was not a big deal for us, but without nighttime security and no lock on the main door, it might not be suitable for some people. The tiled floor outside each villa became dangerously slick after rain. My elderly mother slipped and fell and could have been seriously injured. Maybe look at expanding the roof coverage or providing mats.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. I was pleasantly surprised to enter and see exactly what i saw in the photos. This place was so beautiful and most importantly clean! Annie, the owner, was amazing, knowledgeable, and very nice. The staff is also amazing, especially the manager, kadek. He was always smiling and our kids loved him. I happened to fall ill during our stay and everyone went out of their way to make sure i was taken care of. We also left our luggage including our phones in a taxi, which miraculously got returned, all thanks to annie and kadek. Our kids loved it here and spent hours playing pool and playing in the gardens. Seriously, such a hidden gem, you wont be disappointed!

Our time at angel house was fantastic! We learned a lot about the local area and customs from everyone, and we also received a ton of excellent meal recommendations. The room we had was lovely, and the breakfast is as amazing as everyone says three courses of regional cuisine. The owner, annie, was incredibly kind and chatty, making us feel right at home!.

We had a great time at this place and would definitely recommend it if you want to have a personal experience. We stayed in this lovely hotel in mas ubud for two weeks. It is just outside of ubud, a 13minute bike ride to the center of ubud, but there is a lot to do in the area. We recommend renting a bike to go places. It isnt a typical hotel. It is located in the middle of a living area, but that doesnt matter. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation, with a beautiful garden and a nice pool. Breakfast is served at a long table where you can sit down with other guests. You start your day with some fruit and have a choice of different dishes to start the day with. It feels more like being at your family house than at a typical hotel. The rooms are up to date and cleaned daily. The total of 3 rooms makes it a very nice and small hotel. The hotel staff is very helpful and knows where to go for the real balinese experience. So one day the hotel owner, annie, took us to the holy day of kuningan. An experience you only can have if you go with someone who knows the culture and community and speaks the language.

We stayed in the back room with a view of the temple and the pool. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kingsize fourposter bed and air conditioning. Loved the decor, the welcome fruit basket and the quirky little interior window. The staff made us very welcome and comfortable, with a delicious breakfast cooked to order every morning, including catering for my vegan partner. The pool was a welcome and refreshing start and end to each day. Angel house is a little outside of ubud. We walked to the monkey forest on the first day, but for those who dont like long walks, the local bus goes directly to central ubud. It was free when we got it, but i understand they will start charging for it soon, but it will be local prices, so very cheap. There are many traditional warungs nearby to eat. A short walk up the road is the amazing biji world a huge bar/restaurant with a seating area sunk into the fish pond and live music most nights. In australia, it would be the kind of place reserved for a lister, but we found the prices to be very reasonable and party like rockstars. I would recommend angel house to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a smaller place (there are only 3 rooms) in a less touristy area but close to ubud.

The location is in a quiet area. Easy to get to. If you are riding a bike, it takes around 20 to 25 minutes to get to downtown ubud. It might take longer for cars to arrive. The breakfast is freshly prepared and made at home. Annie and her staff are very friendly and accommodating.
