This was our first time in northwestern Bali. We were greeted by Susie and later J., who own and run the hotel, upon arrival. We chose two lovely bungalows that were in front of the beach, including a wonderful breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Snorkeling and diving was organized through the hotel. What a pleasant surprise that the entire day was planned including transportation, Menjangan island access, lunch, and a personal experienced guide of J. A special thank you. The arranging of dinner for our final night at a local restaurant in the village was another personal touch. Thank you so much to Sue and jerk for treating us more like friends than hotel visitors. It was a pleasant surprise to have someone like jerk around to help us on our diving journey, supper in the village, and all of our accommodations, a very personal touch. We were planning to stay only one night but decided to stay for two. Now we wish we could have stayed more, and it was very sad to depart. We highly recommend Bali Case Resort.

We remained in both the superior bungalow with air conditioning and the one without divers who don't like air conditioning! For a week in September, and despite being hot, with the door open, the breeze was sufficient. Susie and jerk are wonderful hosts who make you feel very welcome. The 4-hour taxi ride was long but fantastic because it took you through the mountain region with paddy fields and incredible temples! The Bali case is relatively small, having only two other bungalows occupied while we were there, and on some evenings the chef came in just to prepare for us! The chef prepares delicious local cuisine, and there are always pawpaw pineapple bananas from the garden. The bungalows are directly across the beach, but because it is black sand, it will not suit everyone, and sadly there is no snorkeling there, but it is still accessible via a short walk along the beach. Susie took us to the local market and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! The three of us who dived on jerks local sites were fantastic, on the boat and on the reef! We took him on a day trip to Menjangan Island, where we dived to the most beautiful wall I have ever dived in clear blue warm water with incredible soft and hard coral with a variety of species..

Despite being a pair of dive buddies who wanted to make a few dives while escaping from our families, we thought this place to be unique. And perhaps even more for romantic couples. The resort supplied the required equipment and air, and jerk's expertise of nearby diving options was just what we needed during our brief two-day visit. Jerk was the most attentive and helpful, and he was the ideal person for addressing our scuba diving interests because he is the most seasoned diver. We had a wonderful time there. It was a wonderful vacation thanks to the jerk, who made our stay memorable. We found this place to be exceptional even though we were two dive buddies who enjoyed taking a few dives while fleeing from our families. And possibly even more romantic couples. We stayed in a well-kept, spotless aircorn bungalow, which included a sizable bathroom, storage area, drinking water, and outdoor lounges. Being rather isolated was not a problem because we had our own vehicle, and being in a location with sizable grounds leading onto a beach was wonderful. Because he is the most knowledgeable diver, Jerk was the perfect person to assist our scuba diving interests. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hidden gem. It is on the shore, so after a swim, I could immediately go to my bungalow for a shower. The bathroom is extremely roomy and modern, with a good flow of hot and cold water, which was a luxury for me after a few homestays. There is always drinking water in the room, and there is free tea and coffee at the restaurant, which is also a bonus! The meals are arguably the best I've had throughout Bali, simple but delicious. George and Sus are incredibly friendly and tend to all of your needs, great hosts. The only thing that might trouble you initially is the prayer songs from the neighborhood mosque, but once you get used to it, it becomes a noisy background. The location is far from the village center, but if you need to go there, george can transport you in the car. I had a wonderful few days at the resort and can recommend it to anyone visiting Pemuteran. There are only four units, so you must make reservations in advance.

In february 2019, I stayed in Bali Case for approximately 10 days. Probably the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. Jerk and Susie were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to meet our demands. The entire staff was warm and welcoming to us. The cuisine was excellent. It was enjoyable to watch the cooks cook after we got a little bit inside. We even learned a few things. Breakfast and dinner were sufficient because we found that we didn't often eat lunch. The skies were normally clear at night, and the sky was amazing. Bring good binoculars or a little telescope if you are going. We seldom observe North America's skies, and the skies are very clear. In the 11 days we were there, the only other people we saw on the shore were a few local fishermen. This neighborhood is calm. However, the black volcanic sand is extremely hot, so bring beach shoes. We wish jerk, susie, and the entire crew all the best and thank you once again for a fantastic time.
