Amazing people. Very quiet area but well located to visit the surrounding beaches and within a walking distance to Uluwatu temple. Staff is adorable! Very reliable and helpful. They treated me like part of their family. The rooms are basic but ideal, very clean, good shower with hot water and a good AC unit. The pool is small but it serves the purpose to cool you down when needed! There are motorbikes for renting at the hotel and there is also a small convenience store... I would recommend it to everyone since if I'm back to the area, I will choose the same accommodation. Thank you Batu Kandik Homestay!

Jättetrevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma. En liten butik som hade öppet nästan dygnet runt. De hade tyvärr ingen värdeförvaring på rummet, men överlag en mycket trevlig homestay.

The bed was really comfy and lacked any commotion. The place was very quiet and comfortable. It was quite close to the temple. The homestay staff arranged my tickets and they gladly drove me around Ubud on a motorbike when I needed to go somewhere. The bed was very comfortable! Slept like a queen!.

This place is not ideal for you to visit. They are working, making it very loud during the morning and throughout the day. There are no windows in the room, just an opening for a light. There is only a curtain to separate the bathroom from the bedroom and the bathroom is open. There is also a toilet inside, but there is only one curtain to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. There were very nice employees, but there weren't enough to accommodate you to have breakfast for an hour. I hope the renovation goes smoothly.

I would absolutely pick another location the next time. The staff was friendly here but not as helpful as I had seen elsewhere. There is no atmosphere, it is basically just sleeping chambers and not a great place to hang out. The pool is nice but small and has chipped tiles. There is nowhere to sunbathe or get shade around the pool. The room itself has good air conditioning, but this is about its only positive feature. There was black mold on the netting over the bed. The mirror was covered in grime. The bathroom is only disconnected from the bedroom by an old shower curtain. No fridge. In some areas, the ceiling is peeling and moldy. After two of my four nights here I went to stay with friends and left the air conditioning off to save power, but when I returned to check out the room smelled terrible. It's a cheap place to stay, but friends paid the same price per night and a bigger, cleaner room with a wonderful pool and seating area. They also had free water every day and their room cleaned every day.

They drove us to cafes and beaches for breakfast and dinner. The employees were really nice, they organized tickets and free transportation to the temple. Thank you very much. Hot water in the shower and free water. But I didn't like the location and the room. It is far from everything and can't be explored on foot. The beaches are far and not for families with children, only surfers. Humid and tiny rooms, tiny bathrooms, and no windows in the rooms.

Nice place. No huge windows in the room but if you’re not staying in too much, it shouldn’t be an issue. The place could use a little more TLC but overall, for the price, it wasn’t bad at all. There aren’t that many restaurants walkable to this place but taking a scooter was super easy.

This was our first stop once arriving in Bali. We didn’t realize how remote the hotel was, about 10 min walk from the nearest restaurant. We have never driven motorbikes and felt more comfortable getting around through Grab drivers which is fairly inexpensive but ended up walking to most places to save money as we’re backpackers. The room was pretty good, I would say you get what you pay for. The room was clean but towels and bed sheets were questionable. The bathroom was a shower tiled room with a toilet in the centre of the room and a curtain as the door and the sink was in the bedroom area, I find this odd. The property was nice and a swimming pool which was cleaned daily. The staff were ok, not always around and not very friendly so it wasn’t the best welcoming. Everyone in the area however was very nice. Overall it was good. Staff could be nicer as it would’ve made us feel more welcomed and comfortable, and would have preferred to know about the bathroom before booking.

Our stay at Batu Kandik Homestay was Amazing. The host (Putu) really Made our stay special and helped us with everything we needed. They don’t serve breakfast anymore, but there is a good and cheap warung just 3 minutes walking from the homestay. Worth coming back for! ☺️
