I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time at bira. Its just one of those places where you feel welcome as soon as you enter. The dives are amazing and the people even more so.

As part of my divemaster program, i stayed at blue planet, and i heartily urge everyone to do so! Amazing and extremely diverse diving, with occasionally charming macros and occasionally adorable macros. Additionally, there is a wide variety of intriguing large marine life including healthy reefs, whitetip reef sharks, thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, and manta rays on almost every dive. All the diving courses with instructor eric are enjoyable, and they always prioritize safety. The staff is generally quite helpful with any needs, and the facilities are always spotless and clean. The beer is reasonably priced and cold, and the location is not too far from town. It truly feels like a second home away from home!.

Kami disambut di Surga baik karena tempatnya yang luar biasa (matahari terbenam yang menakjubkan, bir tangan di air atau di teras), oleh orang-orang yang ramah atau karena profesionalisme instruktur selam. The happiest dive shops with a genuine family feel. Ive dived in various countries around the world and my 12 weeks at blue planet are by far the most memorable i miss it every day. Sylvain and phoebe manage to run a relaxed but tight ship. They are flexible to fit you in with any planned activities i was there as part of the Indo ocean project conservation partnership. My advanced and rescue were taught by eric, a brilliant, fun instructor, and the dive sites are truly breathtaking. My father completed his open water at 63 and loved every minute. Suitable for all abilities, no other divers in sight, sharks and rays aplenty - it is a true paradise. Captain suandang is the best you can ever meet. Outside of diving, the atmosphere is friendly and morning yoga was a dream. Beers in the sea too! Thank you guys i cant believe i can get over it and will definitely be back.

I had the pleasure of staying at blue planet from April to July and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Sylvain and phoebe have created an amazing atmosphere and run a topnotch dive resort. I hope it will be a long time before i have another diving experience that compares to what they have provided. The boat, which in itself was great, is accompanied by a solid seaworthy man and his son, who make sure the dive is safe and exciting. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a spectacular experience both below and above the water. I miss you guys!.

I spent May - August 2022 diving with blue planet dive resort in association with the Indo ocean project for my divemaster program and research internship. This was the best diving experience ive had in my few years of diving, thanks to the exceptional service of the entire team! The marine wildlife is amazing, and i was fortunate enough to encounter a tiger shark and a whale shark a few days apart! The coral in this region is stunning and barely damaged. It was wonderful to see how healthy the reef is compared to many other parts of the world, its a welcomed change! And after a tiring day of diving, it was wonderful to be greeted back by the resident dogs at the dive resort, lucy and pudgy, aka the best dogs ever! My only negative comment is that it is very remote, which is also a plus because it is a 5-6 hour drive from Makassar. If you intend to go, if you intend to go, stay for more than a few days, its definitely worth it!.

I stayed at the villa. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. Pak asdar and ida, Sylvain and phoebe were very nice. They also work with the Indo ocean project so they do a lot of work protecting the environment and educating locals in the school which is very important. Hope i can make it to Bira again. I miss diving at kambing island.

Saya menghabiskan dua hari menyelam di Blue Planet Dive, total empat kali penyelaman. Ini adalah pusat menyelam yang indah di teluk yang indah dengan pantai putih yang indah dikelilingi oleh banyak tanaman hijau. Anda harus menuruni beberapa anak tangga dengan perlengkapan Anda untuk sampai ke bawah. Selama seminggu di pantai dan di desa Bira sepi, pada akhir pekan pantai dan desa penuh dengan turis Indonesia. Meskipun seringkali ceria, tetapi pendidikan dan bimbingannya serius dan sangat profesional. Kami menyelam di dua tempat di Pulau Kambing. Arusnya sedikit di hari pertama, dan di hari kedua arusnya cukup banyak. Penyelaman dinding yang indah dengan banyak jenis karang yang berbeda, dari yang kecil (kuda laut berpigmen, nudibranch dll) dan yang besar (hiu, pari, napoleon dll Puncaknya adalah Mola legendaris yang kami temui di akhir penyelaman terakhir saya: luar biasa! Saya pasti dapat merekomendasikan pusat menyelam ini.

I have never written a review before, but my stay at blue planet was so exceptional that i can only make an exception. Phoebe, Sylvain, and roby are wonderful hosts, creating a beautiful sense of community in this small village. The diving is phenomenal. There is everything from breathtaking pelagic sightings to the weird and wonderful of macro, and all levels of divers will have an amazing experience thanks to the expertise of guide jenly, who is both the most skilled spotter and charmed, and instructor amy, who will guide you through your course with kindness, wit, and knowledge. A big thank you to idas delicious boat lunch and the wonderful crew.

Lokasinya berada di zona hotel dengan akses berbayar 41 k, yang masih sedikit dimanfaatkan dengan unit-unit yang terintegrasi dengan baik dengan alam. Terletak di puncak tebing batu kapur kecil yang menawarkan pemandangan laut yang luar biasa dan pantai pasir putih yang indah yang terjaga dengan baik dari polusi plastik. Manajemen Perancis yang sangat ramah, sekali lagi terima kasih kepada Robin atas sambutannya. Pusatnya baru-baru ini (dimulai sebelum Covid) dan memiliki beberapa kamar padat (bungalo ganda) yang dirancang dengan sangat baik, besar, tenang, ber-AC, air panas. Tempat tidur yang sempurna. Sekitar EUR 75 per malam. Ada juga asrama karena pusat ini menampung mahasiswa penelitian bio. Ruang kayu umum yang indah untuk mengobrol, minum, dan teras tertutup untuk berolahraga atau yoga. Makan malam (kotak makan siang termasuk menyelam) ada 2- 3 alamat dalam jarak berjalan kaki. Kemungkinan sarapan di lokasi. Peralatan terkini dan terawat dengan baik. Kami bersiap-siap dan turun untuk menaiki perahu yang ditambatkan di kaki resor. Lokasi sekitar 30 menit dan ya, kita sering melihat hiu karang, pari elang, tuna. Ada juga barisan karang yang indah. Jumlahnya lebih sedikit dibandingkan Bunaken, tapi saling melengkapi, kita melihat spesies lain. Airnya sedikit lebih dingin, lebih banyak arusnya. Pengawasan yang baik, terutama Jenly, pemimpin penyelam menunjukkan cukup banyak spesies. Informasi terkini, kemungkinan driver dari Makassar 850 rb sekali perjalanan, tanya ke Blue Planet.

I did two days of diving with blue planet and had a great time. The staff and owners were friendly, welcoming, and professional. The dive center is well run and the diving was also great. I didnt stay here, but the accommodation looked clean and comfortable and it was a great place to socialize after a day of diving.

I highly recommend this place as it served as my home for the entire stay. I spent two months at blue planet dive resort doing my internship with the Indoocean project and can confirm that this place is amazing, with good infrastructure and really friendly and helpful people who help you with everything. The dive center is equipped with good dive gear, oxygen and emergency plans. The dive places are amazing, with a really good reef, and the dive guide and dive instructor are very competent and reliable.
