I absolutely recommend this place and will return soon! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this camp. The staff was outstanding, so sweet and helpful in every way. I had pleasant conversations with them throughout our stay, and they always had a genuine smile and excellent knowledge about the area. They were available to drive us to other surf spots and were very knowledgeable about the waves. The communications with Matthew, the owner, were smooth and speedy and on top of every detail. He assisted us in booking our flights out and setting up transportation from and to the camp. He also arranged for my surfboard to return to Bali over land as the airline refused to let me take it. My first time clamping, the clamping tents were really cool. They have an air conditioner and hot water in the bathrooms. We were quite comfortable and well looked after while we were here. The ledge itself was stunning and such a tiny slice of paradise. Jia is undoubtedly the place to stay if you decide to go there. A tiny jungle paradise.

I highly recommend this place and will be back soon! My time at this camp was amazing. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful in every detail. I had enjoyable conversations with them during our stay, and they always had a genuine smile and good knowledge about the region. They were accessible to drive us down to other surf spots and were very knowledgeable about the waves. Our communication with Matt, the owner, was smooth, quick, and on top of every detail. He helped us book our flights out and arrange transportation to and from the camp. He also arranged for my surfboard to return to Bali on land as the airline wouldn't let me take it. My first experience clamping tent was very cool. They have attached bathrooms with hot water and air conditioning. During our time here, we were very comfortable and well taken care of. Gland itself was stunning, such a little slice of paradise. If you decide to go, Jia is without a doubt the place to stay. A little jungle paradise. Definitely a great location! three minutes from the beach with world famous surfing in Alas Puro National Park. Our 2 biologists and I came to see the park, and the wildlife was excellent. But a little too far for my taste. It's unfortunate that the room was completely rid of mosquitoes, which is especially unfortunate when you stay in a jungle tent. Even though we ran the ac out low, there were mosquitoes in the room, causing numerous bites each night. Because they eat meat and feed it, macaques monkeys that eat crabs could get into the tent via the airing hole? In the ceiling. Every day, our neighbours' tent had monkeys in it. Nice location, delicious food, attentive staff. But bring your own mosquitoes and be careful what you keep in your room. Although the homepage isn't that good with reality, I can recommend it to surfers and naturalists.
