I will recommend this homestay to everyone. It's not luxurious, but you definitely won't go to Gorontalo for a luxurious vacation. I came to swim with whale sharks, the room is clean, the price is not expensive, but the best part about this homestay is Harry and Mimic. They are very friendly, speak English and can help you with everything you need. You will feel welcome and the atmosphere between guests is very nice.

They organize cooking classes for french families on the gorontalo cuisine and are very interesting. The location is near Gorontalo, next to the dreamy and birdlifey lake limbo. They also take care of their visitors, connect them and take them on excursions. They also care about their language. The owner and guest, harry and mimic, speak very good English and grin. The cottages are in a small village with a view of the rice fields and coconut palms and smiling neighbors and cute children. I tried the dishes cooked in the class, which was held by the gorontalo cuisine. I hope I can stay there again soon.

Our visit to Harry Mimuki Homestay was amazing. We ended up staying here for 3 nights with this lovely welcoming family. We had a wonderful family tour to see Wales Harks and a fantastic local cooking class with lots of joy and laughter. They took excellent care of us and gave us the feeling of being a real family. Once more, a big thank you for everything Harry Mimuki, we will never forget you. Stephan.

Staying at Harry and Mimics Guest House is like visiting family. The accommodations are basic but clean, have everything you need and also breakfast. All the staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. It's a good place to meet travelers and share transportation costs. I wish I had remained longer to explore the coast, which has amazing reefs and animals in the jungle. I highly recommend staying here and they will assist you with everything in English. Thank you, Harry, Mimic, Ajar and everyone else.

The rooms are reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable, in equal measure for Gorontalo. Unfortunately, this was, I can only assume, a cover-up to try to make as much money from you as possible. A overpriced whale shark trip failed. 10 pals were piled into the back of a pickup truck and drove minutes to wait hours for whale sharks that never came, sure this happens. We were uncomfortable driven back 20 minutes in a pickup, each for a terrible taxi ride. Other arrangements were similarly overpricedexpensive, mishandled by the homestay through using poor, unprofessional contacts candor dodgy operators being engaged. If you stay at the homestay, arrange your own trips and excursions.
