I highly recommend staying here. I will definitely be back. This is the best place ive stayed in bali, having visited it more than 20 times. The atmosphere was great, the service was great, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The owners were very amazing and welcoming, and nothing was too difficult. We will return. We were recommended this place by people we met in legian who had stayed before. Wow, what a recommendation! A beautiful small hotel just a short walk from the black sand beach with a great surf break not that we are surfers. The room we stayed in, no. 5, was very well appointed, spacious and very clean with a lovely small balcony to relax on in the beautiful gardens. The restaurant has great food. From breakfast to dinner, we were never disappointed and they have the best cold beers. Its also a great place to watch any sport you like. But the most loveliest owners, their children and their beautiful staff are the best part of this hotel. They embrace you in their culture and make you feel like part of the family. The hotel arranged scooters for us, so getting around was easy. The beach is also within walking distance. We frequently ate in the restaurant for dinner or requested it be brought to the room, and it was again delicious dishes with enough variety to keep it from getting monotonous. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety, so even during our longer stay, we could always change what to eat (nasi mie goreng, eggs, sandwiches, etc. ).5,0/531 Jan 2025

I will definitely recommend it to everyone, and i will return! Absolutely fantastic! If that were possible, i would give it a 12 out of 10. This is the nicest location ive been visiting in bali for a few months. It boasts an amazing location, is only a short stroll from the beach, and offers lovely accommodations with roomy rooms and cozy beds. The incredible breakfasts, including one of the best pieces of bread ive ever had, which the owner herself made, really set this place apart. The staff is incredibly kind, accommodating, and welcoming. They gave us advice on where to go, when to surf, and where to go. When one of us required minor medical care, they even assisted with minor medical care. This place offers excellent value for the money. We initially intended to stay for two nights, but ended up staying for more than a week. Most importantly, they make you feel at home and you can truly sense it.5,0/531 Jan 2025

I stayed at stana bali and booked for three nights, but i stayed six nights! I had a wonderful time staying at stana bali. The accommodation room was spotlessly clean, with highquality linen and toiletries provided. The onsite restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast every day with a choice of eight different options available - extras and other items are also available for purchase. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared and utterly delicious! The neighborhood is quiet and seems to really appeal to surfers, which is fantastic, you are made to feel welcome! Balian beach is a few minutes walk away and is beautiful, and there are several cafes and restaurants nearby. The standout, however, was the impeccable service provided by every single staff member. It starts with the airport driver arranged through the hotel, who warmly welcomes you upon arrival and gives you a great indication of whats to come. The hotel staff works extremely hard to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Its a wonderful experience! Thank you, kamang, Michael, indah, bagus, desak, and ketut. Istana! I enjoyed bali beach, a tranquil surf beach away from the hustle and bustle of the bustling parts of the island. Istana is a charming small boutique hotel with comfortable rooms, a restaurant, and a pool. Fantastic ocean view from the balcony of the twostory twobedroom family suite. Amazing, attentive, and friendly staff - bagus was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, always with a warm, genuine smile. Michael, the australian owner, was also friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a great balcony and daybed for relaxing and taking in the ocean breeze and view. Breakfast is included. We had some delicious meals here, and the pool was refreshing. Great warungs are just a short walk away, and decki overlooks the surf beach, which is a mustsee at sunset. Nickys yoga sharala is only 50 meters away, another great experience i highly recommend. A few local shops sell bintang, snacks, and other items. Loved bali beach.5,0/527 Jan 2025

Back then, there was only one place to stay known as bobs place, with a second place under construction. The main reason for visiting was to surf, a hidden spot back then, the only people you shared the waves with were the ones you went with. There are now many and varied places to stay when visiting bali, few as appealing as the istana hotel. Michael and Komang are your hosts, and they are always ready to please. Add their wonderful friendly staff, who go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is one you will always remember. Our room was beautifully furnished, as was the bathroom. A threeminute walk to the surf capped off a perfect stay. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in bali, istana hotel in bali is the perfect choice for a place to stay and relax. What a wonderful place istana balian is, far from the chaos of kuta, this location is truly breathtaking. The highlight of our trip to bali was this owneroperated boutique accommodation run by michael and komang. My preferred location to stay in bali! I stayed here for a long time during covid and only checked out from another stay and once more i wish i hadnt had to leave. Komang and Michael run a lovely small boutique hotel located walking distance from the beautiful and quiet beach of bali. They are so welcoming and will go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay and make you feel at home. Nothing is too much for them and you will be well taken care of during your stay. The entire property is beautiful and clean. The rooms are large, very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you could need. The upstairs rooms have a view of the ocean and the downstairs have a nice lush garden. They all have a large porch or balcony where you can relax and relax. The included breakfast is very delicious and generous. Perfect after a morning surf. Istana also runs a restaurant open to the public that serves really good food, big portions at reasonable prices.
