We had a wonderful stay, and the owner and staff were extremely welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was ideal for swimming with turtles. The hotel was peaceful, with food, a bar, and a massage parlor.5,0/52 Jul 2023

We were so happy that we returned! With our two children, we had a wonderful time at juliantos. Family accommodation options are excellent, including a family room with two bedrooms and a shared living area or two rooms connected by a balcony, which is preferable to older children. The beachfront location is breathtaking, and the sunrise view is definitely worth witnessing. Delicious banana pancakes for breakfast, snorkeling with turtles right in front of the hotel, and a variety of delectable little restaurants are within walking distance. We adored ugem right next door. Its a fantastic choice for a laidback family vacation, and the owners, tany and jay, are incredibly kind and accommodating. The lovely team. I highly recommend staying at this friendly, perfectly located and great small resort when visiting gili air. On arrival early, we were given a welcome drink and said our rooms would be ready in 15 minutes, even though we expected to leave our luggage and come back later. Tony and julian welcomed us and welcomed us into their little paradise. I stayed in the family duplex with my kids, which was perfect with the shared verandah. Breakfast was delicious and nice to have frenchpressed coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and everything was so easy, there is a zen spa next door and tjs bar on site to enjoy while kids play pool. Our 16day stay at juliantos by the sea in gili air was absolutely fantastic! From the breathtaking ocean views to lombok and the beautiful accommodations, everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The owners, juliantos and tan, along with their amazing staff, were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Their warm and accommodating hospitality truly made us feel at home. The resort is right by the sea with a stunning sunrise view. The garden is very well maintained with green grass and beautiful plants of various sizes and colors. The most beautiful boungavillea trees we have ever seen in Asia. Very large room with comfortable bed, excellent working air conditioning, fan and fridge. Very beautiful openair bathroom with hot fresh water which is quite rare on the island. Very friendly, hardworking and helpful staff. They all did their best to meet our requests during our one month stay. The beach in front is beautiful and very well maintained despite the debris that land ashore during high tide on stormy days. There is also a sea water swimming pool on site which we never used but looks amazing. Thank you, tan, for the generous offer you offered for our one month vacation. This property is perfect for a dreamy vacation, where you can stroll through bougainvillea boulevard to the pristine blue waters. It is the ideal location to witness the sunrise and to look for sea turtles while snorkeling. Expect spacious, neat, and clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff, freshly cooked delicious food, and amazing conversations with the hosts, juliana and tan. The location is great with beautiful views, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is great. The bar serves the best cocktails on the island! Snorkeling in front of the hotel is one of the best on gili we saw turtles every day and the sunrise is stunning. I love the salt water pool, it was a nice break from heavily chlorinated pools in other hotels but the water is murky and the tiles are slimy if there was anything they could do about the pool, this would have been our best stay if there had been anything they could do about the pool. Its also worth noting that we were there in january after ny and the hotel was quiet, breakfast was nice but fairly simple compared to other hotels we have stayed in and there were not many food options available for lunch and dinner, not a big deal as there are many really nice restaurants nearby.4,8/512 Jul 2023

What a hidden gem on this paradise island. Everything was lovely. I particularly liked my private verandah. I received a 20% discount voucher for the spa, which i indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed. The snorkeling on the coral reef in front of the hotel was fantastic. I saw turtles, a variety of fish, and the elusive moray eel. With cocktails at the bar in the evening, this holiday was relaxing and enjoyable. I also enjoyed riding around the island. I just adore juliantos, think, and feel so at home when i stay here. Juliantos is fantastic. Wonderfully situated in a tranquil area of the island yet close enough in both directions to easily reach the 'thick of things' if one chooses. Two excellent yoga studios are a maximum tenminute walk away. One can literally step out the front and witness the most breathtaking sunrise, followed by sunrise snorkeling, which feels like swimming in an aquarium if one wishes to get up early. If one is fortunate, you may swim with the turtles, which are frequently just off the shore. My room definitely meets all of my needs for a room, including plenty of natural light, good internet, a comfortable bed, hot water, and a desk. Every room has a porch or balcony, and the staff is lovely. Breakfast is served while looking out into the sea towards the island of lombok or upon request, the staff is kind enough to bring it to your room. You can also eat your other meals at juliantos thanks to a new menu, but if you want to leave, i have to say that the options are almost limitless, and it may be impossible to have a poor meal on the island. The staff was so accommodating that i asked if it was possible to have my queensized bed moved to face a different direction, and it was done in no time.4,6/57 Jun 2024

The hotel has a private beach with sun loungers. It has a bar and breakfast area. The downside is that there are no sun umbrellas so you rely on the shade provided by the trees. Far from ideal. The pool was green with the sides rather slimy. My kids were convinced they saw a few fish in it! The place just needs cleaning and a few tourist essentials to be really good.4,6/522 Mei 2024

This was by far the best accommodation we found in indonesia! The rooms are located in a beautiful garden that literally merges with the beach. And this beach is one of the best to see turtles in the morning. The accommodation is very well maintained and clean. We found that unlike many other accommodations in Bali and the gili islands, it is very pleasant when the rooms are bright, so you feel completely safe and comfortable. The whole team was great, very nice people who were helpful, this transferred to the guests so that there was a very positive atmosphere on the whole premises! A serene paradise - juliantos by the sea on gili air. We had visited several resorts on the island in person, and we were impressed by juliantos by the seas excellent upkeep. Additionally, the staff and management were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We had to cancel our originally scheduled accommodation due to this. We stayed in a roomy room with air conditioning and a fan for four nights. The bathrooms thoughtful addition of insect screens was a welcome touch, setting it apart from most other lodging options. The layout is tasteful, and the room style is charming. The seawater pool is ideal for swimming. Snorkeling is highly recommended. Beach towels are offered, which we appreciated. There are beach chairs accessible. The balcony offers stunning views. Breakfast is excellent. Witnessing the sunrise by the beach is an unforgettable experience. The nearest diving school is only a threeminute walk away. The spa is truly exceptional. In conclusion, juliantos by the sea on gili air is a tranquil paradise that exceeded our expectations. The staffs warmth, impeccable maintenance, and the wonderful amenities all contributed to an unforgettable stay.
