We had a wonderful stay. The staff was so kind and helpful. My kids loved the pool - perfect temperature with a deep and shallow end, and a view of the rice fields. Room was large and spotless. Breakfast each day on the patio was great with a lovely view. We ate several meals at the hotel and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The village was nice to walk around and see how the locals live. Much quieter and less busy than Ubud but still close to lots of the attractions, very close to the zoo. Overall highly recommended.

This was our third time at Mandela Desa. While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always. The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us. We highly recommend this 4 room boutique accommodation to anyone that is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali or Ubud. Relax and recharge here.

Suami saya dan saya menikmati masa inap yang damai dan tenang di sini. WiFi sangat bagus, layanan sangat baik dan kolam renang adalah tempat yang sempurna untuk bersantai. Saya menghargai betapa baiknya komunikasi tuan rumah dan betapa membantu mereka dengan transportasi kapan pun kami perlu pergi ke suatu tempat. Kamar mandi berada di luar kamar, tetapi tetap memiliki banyak privasi, yang merupakan sentuhan yang unik. Meskipun kami tidak menunggang kuda, kami sangat senang melihat kuda-kuda di sekitar properti. Pasar lokal hanya berjarak 10 menit berjalan kaki, yang sangat nyaman. Terima kasih banyak telah menjadi tuan rumah yang luar biasa, sangat merekomendasikan untuk memesan tempat menginap di sini!

Pemiliknya adalah orang Jerman dan sangat ramah. Semua staf tersenyum dan baik hati! Kolamnya bersih, dengan pemandangan sawah yang indah, dan terdapat kuda dan ikan di lokasi, yang disukai anak-anak. Tidak banyak restoran di sekitar, tetapi kita bisa makan di vila dengan harga yang wajar! Saya senang mereka menyediakan minuman dan makanan ringan setiap hari. Lokasi yang bagus bagi mereka yang pergi ke taman burung dan taman reptil. Jika saya tidak ke sana, saya pasti ingin tinggal di sana lagi.

The family and staff who own and run this resort are absolutely incredible. The service and willingness to please is beyond compare. The food was some of the best we had after being in Indonesia for 2 weeks. If going to the zoo to ha e breakfast with the elephants and orangutans is on your list, this resort is convenient and very special. We would highly recommend and we have stayed all over Bali and the World. Well run place with people who genuinely care.

We have been coming to Mandala Desa for four years now, the perfect place to relax after a long haul flight and before returning. It sits among the rice fields in a small village with beautiful views. Birdwatching is good and the view of the mountains in the morning is magic. The food is delicious and the staff are beautiful and will help you arrange anything you want.

Such a good resort with such a price tag. We arrived at night, it was completely dark which was a bit worried. But when it comes to sunrise, the pool view was exceptional and amazing. The staff there was very nice, friendly and helpful. Really recommended since it was really out of my expectation. Very good accommodation for staying.

Mandala Desa was our favorite stay during our entire 2-week trip to Bali, Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and Gili Meno. Everything was perfect, including the hostess, staff and service, location, scenic overlook of the rice fields, room comfort and cleanliness, amenities, food service, etc. We felt like it was home away from home. I would highly recommend and would absolutely return for a longer stay.

tolles Hotel, dessen Service auf unserer Bali-Reise am allerbesten war Das Hotel liegt abgeschieden von Sukawati direkt an Reisfeldern. Man erholt sich in absoluter Ruhe. Sehr zu empfehlen. Nach Sukawati ist man zu Fuß ca. 10 - 15 min unterwegs. Wir bewohnten eine Suite. Riesiges, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und Moskitonetz.

Mandala Desa is the ideal location for a peaceful, comfy, and tidy apartment. This hotel is a good alternative to Bud Bud's daily operations while being close to it and nearby attractions by a complimentary shuttle service in a quaint village with views of rice fields. Everyone should stay at Mandala Desa, in my opinion. The superior suite, which was beautiful and roomy, served as our home base for resting and enjoying our delicious breakfast and dinner. The extensive balcony was ideal for relaxing or enjoying our delectable brunch. Afternoon tea is best served next to the beautiful pool. Jacta, our host, and the entire staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. The locals treated us with warmth and friendliness throughout our numerous short walks to the river and nearby temple in the village. Our next trip would be wonderful if I could stay a while to explore the area further, take a few additional local attractions, or take one of the many activities offered, such as cooking or painting classes.

We would heartily recommend this villa and will undoubtedly return to Mandala Desa! When we arrived at Mandala Desa, Jacta, the most pleasant and welcoming owner of Mandala Desa. Throughout our trip, she was exceptionally helpful, as were the villa's staff! The villa in which we stayed was stunning, overlooking Bud's usual rice paddies. The house is enormous and beautifully furnished. Our visit was nothing short of superb, from the stunning pool, koi fish swimming along our patio, a wonderful air conditioner, and the graciousness of the villa. Our villa was beautifully prepared before our arrival, giving it a wonderful feel and receiving delectable welcome drinks and snacks. The villa also provides scooter rentals, which are necessary in Bali.
