Ive been to manggis dive resort three times now. Atun and his family have been fantastic! What a view, perfect temperature, one step away from nature! Oxygen! The perfect oasis, a place to relax, a place to write a book, a place to work on yourself, the road leading to this place is a meditation in and of itself. The place is amazing, that is all i can say.

We came across the owner of this resort as my partner and i had walked all the way from sidemen and got lost and still had a very long walk to go and couldnt get a taxi. We saw this resort and went in to ask for help. She was very nice and spoke great english. The facilities were beautiful, the rooms looked lovely, the dining area and he gave us a drink each while we chilled off and had a great conversation. Gave us some great information about places to go and beautiful beaches. She also spoke to us about the diving courses she also does, which sound great and at a very reasonable price. She also does tours for people who stay here and can do trekking. In the end, she offered us a lift down into one of the nearby towns and arranged a taxi for us the rest of the way without asking for a penny! She is a very nice and wonderful person. If we were in the area for longer, we would definitely have booked a room here. Highly recommend. Great location. Beautiful views. Clean and nice facilities, rooms and finding area. The host is very kind and informative.

I wish i could keep this tranquil retreat a secret for myself because it is so underrated. The view from manggis garden is breathtaking! Every corner offers panoramic views of the surrounding tropical landscape and the sea beyond, with nusa penida visible in the distance. The kitchen serves simple but delectable local dishes, all homemade. Be careful with the hot, fiery sambals they serve. I heard owner Bruno also makes authentic french breads and pastries. That will be something i will try on my next trip. Do inquire the owner, kusmiatun, about travel and advice in bali, she has the best knowledge and tips! She speaks excellent english, is connected with the locals, and supports their trade. So if you need a trekking guide or information on bali or lombok island hopping, she can help guide you and book at reasonable prices. My stay at manggis garden was absolutely magical. The combination of stunning natural surroundings, impeccable service, and deep respect for local culture left me with cherished memories. I miss the cats and pom! This will definitely not be my last time visiting this paradise on the hills, leaving with my mind rejuvenated and my heart full.

We came as a family of 4, and our 3 nights were an amazing experience! Manggis resort is a hidden gem. Its staff is very friendly, the cottages are charming, and its location is the perfect gateway from busy and more visited places. We will definitely be back!.

Manggis resort sangat cocok bagi mereka yang mencari ketenangan. Terletak di desa Manggis, sekitar 4 kilometer dari jalan utama. Dari resor ini, kita bisa melihat pemandangan yang luar biasa ke arah Nusa Penida dan sekitar Padang Bai. Beberapa kamar yang tersedia memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Walaupun tempatnya cukup jauh, tidak perlu khawatir karena peralatan masak disediakan. Restoran Manggis Dive Resort juga siap menyajikan makanan lezat. Jika Anda beruntung, Anda dapat menjelajahi tempat-tempat di sekitar resor yang masih alami.

We will be back soon for another relaxing weekend at this oasis. The best place we have ever stayed. Beautiful bungalow, breathtaking view, and the best food ive had in bali. Diving is divine with your instructor, bruce.

This place is a little slice of heaven, with stunning views of padangbai, lovely accommodations, and extremely friendly staff! Its so simple to unwind here! The only drawback is that you would need transportation, although the staff is very helpful in arranging a car or motorcycle if needed.
