Anna Susi Aprilia Warkor • Couple Trip

Our book is in lake views and we changed to ocean views. It's really nice place to stay with beautiful host Jun and Anna. Lovely food that they made for breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend this place to stay

Sangat direkomendasikan. Pantai yang indah dengan snorkeling yang indah, puluhan penyu dan banyak ikan dan karang. Wismanya indah dengan kabin yang sangat nyaman dan pemilik yang sangat ramah yang merawat kami dengan baik. Makanan di restorannya luar biasa!

We stayed at maratua guesthouse for 7 nights and it was pure paradise. Jun and an were wonderful hosts and i shed so much tears on the way home i really didnt want to leave this piece of paradise. My boyfriend and i have traveled quite a bit in indonesia and maratua island is now very high on our list of the best places we have been to. The island itself is picture perfect tropical paradise. Maratua guesthouse is right on the best beach in maratua, think palm trees, white sand, 1000 hermit crabs and turtles everywhere! Every morning we would have a delicious breakfast at the guesthouse while watching the turtles feeding on the sea grass at high tide. Then when the tide goes out, you can walk across the reef to snorkel in the best coral reefs ive ever seen. I have even been to the kmodo islands and this was much better. One morning we saw over 30 turtles in 20 minutes. The island itself is jungle and the array of birds, lizards, and snakes blew us away! If you love animals and jumping on a moped, this is the place to go. We stayed in a room with a view of the lake and loved waking up in the morning and watching the monitor lizards swimming in the lake from our balcony. The room itself was clean and exactly what we needed. Dont expect fivestar accommodation with pool service and cocktails, this is not the place to come to for that, but if you are looking for a place with unspoiled coral, great relaxed hosts and a place to really relax, this is the place to go. Jun, the owner of the guesthouse, arranged everything for us, including our dives and snorkeling trips to kakaban island. We really didnt have to worry about anything. Communication leading up to our stay and our transfers from berau airport were perfect. We couldnt have asked for better. I will always cherish my memories of maratua! Thank you so much, jam and an. We will miss you and your lovely guesthouse!.

Saya akan dengan mudah mengatakan bahwa jangan tinggal di tempat lain di Maratua. Kami melakukannya pada awalnya dan sangat menyesal bahwa kami tidak memilih Wisma Maratua dari awal. Tidak ada orang lain di pulau ini yang menyajikan sarapan seperti Jun. Sepiring buah segar dan jus buah segar, yang lain tidak memilikinya. Sisa sarapan (banyak pilihan), makan siang dan makan malam juga luar biasa. Jangan lupa bahwa Maratua adalah pulau terpencil dan semua orang mengklaim bahwa tidak ada buah atau sayuran di pulau ini. Tapi mengapa Wisma Maratua berusaha keras untuk mendapatkan produk segar? Namanya LAYANAN! Dan Jun, pemiliknya tahu semua tentang itu. Dia tinggal di luar negeri hampir sepanjang hidupnya sehingga dia melihat bagaimana hal itu dilakukan, tidak seperti orang lain di pulau itu. Dan bahasa Inggrisnya bagus. Jadi Anda tidak akan mengalami masalah komunikasi apa pun. Seperti yang terjadi pada kami di tempat lain. Jangan buang-buang uang Anda ke resor mahal (yang hanya penipuan besar) di pulau ini karena karang terbaik untuk snorkeling ada di depan Wisma Maratua. I stayed here for 5 days and it was amazing. They have 3 types of guesthouses (4 hotel facilities) ocean view, lake view and forest view. The staff is friendly, pak junaedi and wife and little athan great host. It takes 15 minutes from kampung. Its literally in the middle of forest, pak junaedi plant lots of lemon grass, so no mosquitoes found here. They also have a restaurant next to the private beach with cheaper prices compared to small stall in kampung.

I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend the guesthouse. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated. The restaurant has an amazing view of the sunsets and turtles at high tide. And most importantly, jun and anna go above and beyond what is expected. They truly care and go above and beyond for you. Annas cooking is excellent.

Saya menginap di sini selama seminggu pada bulan Agustus 2023 bersama keluarga saya dan semuanya sempurna. Kamarnya bagus dan memiliki AC, tuan rumahnya sangat membantu dan makanannya luar biasa! Snorkeling sangat menyenangkan, langsung turun dari tangga resor (walaupun hati-hati terhadap arus), bahkan snorkeling terbaik di pulau itu. Menurut saya, seminggu adalah waktu yang tepat untuk dihabiskan di Maratua karena pulau ini kecil. Terima kasih.

We had a great time at maratua guest house and consider it to be the best resort on the island. Jun and an, the hosts, are incredibly kind people who are always willing to help and make their guests stay as comfortable as possible. They prepared the most delicious breakfasts and dinners we have had in indonesia, and the portions were enormous. The snorkeling spot near maratua guest house is one of the best on the island, and boats bring tourists from other hotels here for snorkeling. Herds of turtles can be seen right next to the guest house, and one day we even saw a manta ray from the balcony. Overall, maratua guest house exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting maratua island.

We had an amazing experience at maratua guest house. Bapak jun and his wife sandra have provided us with great hospitality. Susana cooked us delicious local food. She took care of us by providing meals at the right time. It was truly amazing because she was willing to accommodate all of our food choices. But my advice to anyone visiting them is to keep your choices simple as it is quite taxing to prepare so many custom choices. Jun has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. A true gem hidden in maratua. You must meet him in person. He ensures you are well taken care of. The view in front of our villa is breathtaking. We slept right by the sea. We woke up to the soft sound of waves on the rock. It provided us with better sleep and better quality sleep. We really appreciate the conversation with the owner during our stay. It eventually is not about business, but about friendship. We gained a family friend during this trip and it was truly unforgettable. Hope to be able to return to this amazing and beautiful island with untouched coral and turquoise sea. Once you reach this island, the trip is fully paid in full.

Maratua guesthouse is truly the best place to stay, 10/10! It offers the islands best snorkeling spots, which you can access directly from the property. There is also a beautiful tropical beach right in front of the guesthouse. The huts are clean and beautiful. We had breakfast while watching dolphins and sea turtles from the terrace, built directly over the ocean, an unforgettable experience. What really made our stay special were the hosts, June and Anna. They are very kind and welcoming, and they prepare the most delicious breakfasts and dinners, all included!. They also helped us arrange great snorkeling trips and other fun things to do around the island. Motorbikes are available for rent directly from the guesthouse, making it easy to explore. I celebrated my 30th birthday here and they surprised me with a large cake. It was such a nice gesture!.
