Ive been frequenting merthaysa 2 for about 8 years. The people running the place, including wayan, the owner, are incredibly friendly it feels like you are part of their family and not just another visitor. And the staff, especially at the checkin desk, is always available to help with anything you may need during your stay. Its perfectly located in the heart of ubud, so you can easily walk to pretty much anywhere in town. Plus, its easy on the wallet, making it a great choice for budget travelers or those looking for an extended stay! When i used to stay here for ten months, there was nothing better than waking up to smelling freshly prepared fruit and balinese coffee. I will definitely be back - see you soon!.

Would i return? Absolutely! Excellent location and very kind owners (family). Good prices for what you get. The rooms are minimalistic, adding some extra cubberts or hangers would have been appreciated.

The best place i stayed on my trip to bali, in my opinion! I extended twice. Super amazing hosts, a great atmosphere in the guesthouse, delicious breakfast, and pristine pool. Every day, the rooms are cleaned, with friendly staff available to assist you. Situated 5 minutes from the yoga barn, yet conveniently located with lots of restaurants, shops, etc. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!.

I love this place in bali. This beautiful and quiet guest house is run by the amazing wayan and alit in the center of ubud. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the yoga barn and the monkey forest.

This place is highly recommended! Fantastic location for lodging while exploring ubud. The monkey forest is only a 5minute walk away, and the palace is 15 minutes away from this location. Alit, her family, as well as the welcoming personnel, were excellent during our visit, offering us advice on things to do and places to eat. They also set up transportation for us. Excellent pool to cool off in when it gets too hot, cozy rooms with air conditioning.

I had a wonderful time here and would most certainly come back and suggest it to others. Really lovely location with kind people. The rooms are quite roomy, and you can choose to pay more for deluxe rooms with only ceiling fans or more in addition to air conditioning breakfast is included.

I would suggest it. The host, nyoman, was incredibly kind, and my room right by the pool was lovely, complete with a lovely little terrace. Its utterly serene and like escaping the bustling city of ubud. I also loved how close it was to the yoga barn!.

During my four months of traveling, this was one of the most enjoyable stays. The staff members were extremely friendly, they assisted in setting up motorbike deliveries to the hotel and a boat to Gili T. They cleaned the room every day, provided breakfast and meals at an ideal pace, and provided countless opportunities for relaxation. Additionally, the pool provided an excellent environment for unwinding.

The homestay family was very accommodating, responsive and helpful during my stay, especially when i was sick and almost bedridden. The room ive stayed in was basic and cleaned every day. It was located in a great location and within walking distance from where he needed to be.

I had a great time here. Then, you will feel at home thanks to the welcoming atmosphere of ubud center and the helpful people close by. After, they have breakfast, sand, pool, and comfortable rooms. Subsequently, it takes 20 minutes to walk to urbud palace.

In a busy city like ubud, there is sand and tranquility. Sweet, friendly, and helpful people who want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very good with air conditioning and tv. There is also irradian pool which is beautiful and very nice. They help you with everything you need, taxi, scooter, etc. Dont look any further, merthayana 2 bungalow is the place to be in urbud!.

We stayed here a few days ago and loved it! This hotel was definitely the best place we slept during our vacation in bal, and maybe even in our history of traveling on incredibly low costs. When we first entered, the traditional architecture, gardens, or koi pond were absolutely breathtaking. You could tell they carefully planned every detail. We were welcomed with two fresh banana smoothies as welcome drinks, but even the breakfast place was beautifully put together, with fresh flowers everywhere and tastier table settings. It truly felt like he had gotten ten stars for $30 per night. Also, it was very quiet at night, which is something i find rare in Bali, wifi was fast and reliable, etc. The shower was also very clean! After countless days of sightseeing, hot water and water pressure felt very good. If ive ever returned to bali, this is definitely where ill book (and stay longer than two nights this time, too).
