I don't want to stay here at all because of the gloomy prices and limited options. The location is not fantastic, despite the positive reviews. The first impressions are quite positive. We had a single and a double bed, which weren't the worst we had ever slept in, but the pillows had a foul odor and we didn't go under the sheets. There was mold on the ceiling, the toilet wouldn't flush, and there was a slug slimming down our bedroom wall. They offer a shared meal for rp 60000 for dinner which was acceptable. Luckily, we only required a place to sleep for a few hours before leaving Jen at midnight. Don't want to spend the night here.

Lokasi hotel ini sangat strategis, dekat dengan kawah ijen dan desa Lawa. Hotel ini juga menyediakan fasilitas air panas yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit.

Tempatnya jauh dari pusat kota dan jalan menuju Timor hotel terjal dan rusak. Kamar bersih, pemandangan indah dan sejuk. Cocok untuk menenangkan pikiran karena jauh dari keramaian. Sinyal ponsel mudah susah.

Let me begin by saying that this is your best bet for a restful night's sleep compared to the other options in the area. You have your own restroom, and the common area is actually quite beautiful. Be aware that you are in rural Java, like far from the sticks. You'll probably drive there at night since it's a long drive from any city to Kawa Jen, and it's super close to the base camp, so you don't need to get up earlier than you already have. Okay, the beds weren't top-notch, and the restroom was a little scary for western travelers, but it was an unusual experience if you were only there to get a few hours of sleep before the big trek to the crater. You're not there for amenities, luxuries, but for convenience! They have wifi and the staff is so nice, even in English, and will provide you with dinner whenever you come, as well as a packed breakfast to take with you to Jen after a horribly loud wake-up call. Im not going to say this is by any stretch the four seasons of rural java, but it completely serves its purpose, and we were very fortunate to stay here compared to other options in the area. If you're cold while you sleep, I suggest you bring a blanket.

Luckily, we only needed a place to lie for a few hours before going out to it jen at midnight. Wouldn't want to spend a night here. If you are not too squeamish or fussy, this place does the job because there are no options and it is not particularly cheap for what it is.
