We had a wonderful two weeks at the Raja Laut. The diving was fantastic, with an amazing guide, massar, and great captains and assistants, jeffry and andre. We even got pizza prepared in the oven, which was delicious, thanks to jessy!. Olin and amedeo are excellent hosts who are very accommodating. For my husbands birthday, jelly even made me incredibly adored chocolate cake. At this simple but wonderful resort, the value for money is excellent.4,8/52 Jun 2023

We booked 6 nights here and must say it was nothing short of exceptional from the welcome to our departure. We werent there to dive or snorkel, just chilling, but we did for the last 3 days and wow what a great experience! Best coral weve seen anywhere not that we are experts. Roberto and agnes were charm personified, friendly, helpful and amusing, they are Italian and alexandresias wife Olin was he treasure. Meals 3 p. M. A day were plentiful and delicious food, thanks to the ladies in the kitchen. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, and the internet worked well in our room! The accommodation was absolutely amazing, it was the best room weve ever stayed in all of sulawesi! The bungalows were immaculate and spacious, even with a safe, and the food was delicious and served with kindness. I can also recommend staying here to stay on the island. I am happy to have stayed at the Raja Laut dive resort. Amedeo and his team were accommodating and excellent with arrangements. The dive sites were great with beautiful coral walls, divemaster Edo highlighted some unusual fish (frogfish, crocodile fish) as well as many sea turtles. Rooms were basic but sufficient, hot water book the superior bungalow. Great staff overall, good value.4,6/521 Okt 2023

My family had a great time at Raja Laut. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning and the grounds have savoring views. Pak bram, the indonesian manager, was gentle and helpful, and everyone was open and friendly. A short walk from the hotel to the local town, which is perfect for tasty walks at the end of the day. It was beautiful diving with amazing visibility and walls full of action and life. On the dive boat, there was ambiance with dozens of laughs and fun. 3 of us completed our padi advanced course while we were there, where we received clear and patient instructions to help us feel confident as we developed our skills. Post covid, resuspected money is needed to upgrade some dive equipment (wetsuit boots, snorkels, etc. Have seen better days, but that will come.4,6/524 Jun 2023

Amadeo is very responsive to any questions i had, including how to get there and any other questions. The restaurant service is excellent, and pizza night was literally my favorite meal in all of indonesia! They always have a bowl of fruit available for snacking. When none of the wetsuits fit my figure, the dive guide was kind enough to give me his scuba shirt. There were zillions of fish and so many huge turtles diving! On the bungalow deck, there is nasty hammock where you can sit and watch the sea. I would advise bringing earplugs because the superior bungalow with air conditioning was right next to the road and you could hear motorbikes as well as the chickens and dogs that are common on islands. Lots of drinking water is available, even in the cottage. Some lovely woodwork furniture with places to hang clothes and shelves to store your belongings.4,6/521 Jun 2023

Beautiful wood paneled bungalow with hammocks overlooking the ocean and looking out over the sea and watching the stunning sunrise from our bungalow. Dive master and guides are great, 10/10 diving experience. They also have a good hospitality team. Every day they served dozens of homemade food. On our last day, they gave us some homemade italian wood fired pizza fresh from their own woodfired oven. Meals are served 3 times daily and we eat like family with the owner and others. This place is beautiful, with attractive wooden bungalows and a dedicated staff. We stayed for 16 days. It was the rainy season, and on some days we were the only guests. However, we received pampering all around us. Mention some hot soup would be nice on twilight day? The same day you have it for lunch with the recipe, but the next day another soup comes up because the weather is still cold with only 26 degc air temperature. And because we are interested in food, they invited us to the kitchen and showed us how to prepare those traditional dishes we liked. Amadeo, the owner, is from napoli. He runs specialized pizza oven. When they discovered that we enjoyed mokastyle coffee, she opened he packs of the true coffee napsale for us as if we wanted it. That cant be found anywhere in sulawesi. Also, besides being able to participate in their fun, in general, diving was made easy. There are many turtles here, so you dont even turn your head for them anymore. One downside was that there were times when we encountered large amounts of plastic trash, wood pieces, or coconuts floating in garbage along with current. Could occur anywhere, come and go. The resort itself responded to it because it does not offer botteled water, however, it has dispensers4,4/526 Des 2023

I cant wait to go back. Amadeo and his team have a fantastic setup. 7 individual huts with en suite bathrooms provide privacy and beautiful sea views. The food is delicious and varied, i loved the pizza oven evenings!
