We had a nice stay at the Studio. The owner and staff were always very friendly and helpful. There was some confusion around the booking, but the owner was helpful and we managed to sort it out together. Note that on hotels.com website, all the pictures are of the Studio villas. You can also book the studio backpacker though (basic rooms without all the villa facilities)

We use this place to live life to the fullest, we have discovered this place in the studio Lars Villa. A place to swim, read, and enjoy the surrounding beauty. You will be able to listen to the birds, watch the monkey family, and watch the fishermen at sea while the wonderful staff quietly perform their duties around you. Great meals are available or nearby in Senggigi. You won't want anything. Thank you, we will be back.

Our family is three, my husband and our 9 year old daughter. We remained at the studio for 6 months while my husband worked in Masaga. We loved the lodging, a lovely traditional woodjolly nestled high above Senggigi. The studio includes two bedrooms and a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The sliding wooden doors open onto a verandah overlooking the ocean and letting a lovely breeze in most afternoons. My daughter was able to enjoy the grounds and play freely with access to a large swimming pool gardens and a trampoline. The serenity of the studio left a mark on you, it is a lush green environment with hills to explore and valleys to explore. It is close to Senggigi and Mata, which provides a perfect location to explore both great beaches and the city. We will cherish the time we spent at the studio because it was our refuge in the jungle. The studio staff were very helpful and our stay here was safe and welcome. A wonderful location to explore the lovely island of view, I would strongly suggest spending time here, it's a wonderful place to spend time.

Our favorite part was swimming at sunset and the views from the garden and the upstairs gallery. It was so lovely. On arrival, the staff members were so happy and holding fresh coconuts for us and a large vase of tropical flowers that had been picked from the garden. There are also a lot of seating places. You may take a shower under the twinkling stars while being semioutdoor, which makes for a unique experience. The villa is very comfortable and cozy with many spaces for sitting and admiring the scenery. It is a unique experience if you take a shower under the twinkling stars in the villa. The gardens are lovely and allow my 3-year-old daughter to play in plenty of space. She really enjoyed trampoline.

We were a family of four and stayed at the main villa for 6 months. The villa and the whole property are beautiful. We love the ocean view and the surrounding nature. Owner and staff are friendly and ready to help you 247. The villa is located in a quiet neighborhood in Senggigi so not far from the beach and tourist spots but still feeling exclusivity.

We had the pleasure of staying in Studio 2, one of the three villas on the property. We remained there with three small children and had a great time. The children loved playing in the landscaped garden and exploring the various trails and tracks on and around the property. The adults loved sitting on the balcony and watching the sun set and listening to the rinjani owl and other wildlife while enjoying a quiet conversation and a refreshing drink. And all loved the lovely infinity pool and the stunning views of the jungle and the ocean. The villa is well equipped with all the amenities needed and has three bedrooms that easily fit our family of five. The staff is nice and well trained and helped with everything from booking transportation and dinner to where to go to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables and local artefacts and souvenirs. The property is a short five-minute ride from Senggigi, where there are lots of restaurants and shops and of course a beach. Overall, we completely recommend staying at the studio and using it as a base to explore Senggigi and the other stunning beaches that make up the west coast.

Beautiful property with gorgeous architectural details, artwork and furniture, but in need of upkeep and a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The sea view from the upstairs veranda is superb. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They prepared a delicious bbq fish dinner. Same day laundry service was an added bonus and the driver was very helpful. Both services and the dinner are extras but well worth it.
