Fantastic breakfast with many options. Paul and Annette were superb hosts and went out of their way to be helpful. Room was beautiful and property is gorgeous.

What a gorgeous gem we found on our Ireland vacation! This B&B sits next to Loch Lein, with beautiful grounds. The home itself is clean and well-decorated, with fresh flowers in the main areas. The dining room is charming and elegant. In fact, elegant is the word I'd use for our entire stay. The caretakers/owners are personable. One day we were out from sunup to sundown, getting back after dinner. I was offered hot tea, delivered to my room for me to relax and sip after a long day. Our room was amazing! It was spacious, with a sofa and table, and included fresh bathrobes—very luxurious. We had a spectacular view of the lake. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows fluffy (this means a lot to us!). We had two meals in the dining room, dinner and breakfast. The food is gourmet—the best we had during our travels. The meals are an extra charge, and totally worth it. On checkout, I left a bag behind and received a prompt call before we were out of the city. I was very appreciative of the diligence in handling my belongings. I can't say enough about this fantastic property: the service, the gorgeous room, and the delicious food. I highly recommend Loch Lein Country House for a comfortable and elegant stay.

Our stay at Loch Lein Country House was exceptional. The hotel was immaculate and the staff went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. Paul's knowledge of the area was invaluable. We would recommend a stay there as a hub for visiting the locality. And do have an evening meal there where you can relax with picture postcard views of the lake.

From the moment we arrived, Annette and Paul made us feel like honoured guests at their private country home. Our spacious, elegantly furnished room offered breathtaking views over Lough Lein and the MacGillicuddy Reeks. A truly “hidden gem” in Killarney—can’t wait to return!

Stop looking any further and rent a beautiful room here! Annette & Paul and Jack were so hospitable, and happy to suggest things to do and places to visit in the area. Accommodations were luxurious. We will most definitely be back!
