Breakfast was 8:30 and I was leaving early to catch ferry!! Room very cold but radiator had been switched off, once turned on the room heated up nicely. Fish and chips were delicious.

I just loved this hotel the friendliness of the welcome from staff, the food both dinner and breakfast and the location. I only stayed one night along the WAW trip but would stay again for sure and will recommend to friends.

Veel parkeerruimte, ook voor ons kamerraam waardoor er een bus op 5 cm stond en het raam niet open kon, dat kan onhandig zijn. Het personeel is heel aardig en het eten in de bar is prima. Het is er stil en de douches zijn geweldig. De kamer was mooi ruim. Er was veel info over de omgeving met uitleg hoe er te komen. Heel fijn!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and full of charm. The landscaping leading up to the property was stunning and set the tone for a lovely stay. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable. We also had a great time across the street at the bar, playing pool and enjoying the friendly local atmosphere. A wonderful experience from start to finish—highly recommend!

Tasty Food & Friendly Helpful Staff stood out most for me during my 2 day stay at this cosy hotel. Made very welcome on arrival even though I was late to check in and thankful the Chef was still on site as he made me fish & chips with real mushy peas. I was famished after long journey but that yummy meal made the wait so worth it. Big 'Thank you' to all the lovely & accommodating staff that made my stay a very pleasant & comfortable one. Especially to the young lady on reception when I arrived at 9pm on 6th Sept - in all her multitasking she still managed to fit in going to kitchen to ask the chef if he could feed me, bring my case upstairs to my room so I could go straight to table, while remaining pleasant & efficient with all the asks of her in between and straight after 👏 My room was cosy, clean and catered perfectly for my needs - tea & coffee facilities in the room and toiletries in bathroom. Because another reviewer mentioned it, I wasn't surprised to find the room hot. Though my bones were loving the toasty room I do prefer it cooler when sleeping so just adjusted the rad to off and opened window. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed an undisturbed nights sleep on both days. I stayed at this hotel because it was accessible by bus & close to the Pier where I planned to get the Ferry to Tory Island - though I took taxi next morning to ensure I didn't miss it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this homely hotel and hope I get the opportunity to return 😍.
