Well decorated establishment ,a compact room with all the necessary facilities. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Situated within easy walking distance/ public transport of the town facilities, theatre, cinema.

My stay at the Devonian was nothing short of exceptional, and I'd return without hesitation! From the very moment I arrived — even a little ahead of check-in time — the warm and welcoming Gillian was right there to greet me at the door with a smile, and my room was already beautifully prepared. What a wonderful first impression! The property itself is absolutely immaculate and tastefully decorated throughout, reflecting a genuine pride of ownership that's hard to miss. The thoughtful attention to detail shines through in every amenity provided, and the spotless cleanliness from top to bottom truly sets the Devonian apart. The staff were a constant delight — always cheerful and ready with a friendly word whenever our paths crossed coming and going. And the location? Simply perfect! Nestled right at the heart of Loch Promenade, the Devonian places you at the ideal midpoint for exploring everything this wonderful area has to offer. Fantastic restaurants, the Strand Shopping Centre, the beautiful beach, and charming cafes are all just a leisurely stroll away in either direction. If you're looking for a stay that combines comfort, cleanliness, outstanding hospitality, and an unbeatable location — look no further than the Devonian. Highly recommended!

Very good position for site seeing , fantastic informative staff spent time to have a chat with you. Breakfast was lovely fresh and made to order lots of choice. Recommend to everyone, would definitely stay again if we returned to the Isle of Man thank you Kevin and Partner

My group and I had perhaps the best hotel experience we’ve ever had at The Devonian. I cannot say enough good words about how welcoming, friendly and helpful the staff (owner?) was. From arriving early morning and being able to put our bags in one of the rooms despite check in being hours later, to providing really helpful advice on navigating the bus strikes, just utterly exemplary. The hotel itself was beautiful, well kept, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I can’t fault it and would return without question if we ever go back to the Isle of Man.

Great Location, about 20min walk to the Sea Terminal, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked. A few cons: 1. The single room is a bit small (so wouldn’t recommend if you have big suitcases), and the bed is too soft which doesn’t feel comfortable. 2. The heating in the room is not 24h on, so it might get a bit chilly in the early morning, but there is an extra blanket in the room.
