It is very beautiful for the location of this hotel. In the area, there are many lovely walks with wildflowers and the setting is fantastic. We decided to stay on a Saturday night, so we could visit the Sunday market and especially the cheeseman who was selling a wide variety of cheese, including local and delicious tomb cheese, and the day market. There is nothing extraordinary about Alberto Pass. The restaurants cuisine is exactly what italy is all about with simple ingredients cooked well. I first visited to feel home and as part of the family, but that was the first time I'd ever been.

We're going to continue exploring the valley and by luck and with the help of a work colleague, we came across this alberto. What a success we were also, it turns out. The brother brothers Franco and Antonio and their employees gave us a wonderful welcome. My thanks go out to them for their warmth and generosity throughout the week that they let us use the facilities, and having dinner there was satisfying. Simple but delicious food in numerous proportions, second helping too if you're hungry, and all with a grin and a chat to some difficulty because we can speak English, Spanish, and French, and they obviously spoke Italian and Italian. Fun, really enjoyable, and most of all merits.
