Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at B&B La Barbera was just perfect. Sylvia was the best hostess. Answering any questions, helping with dinner recommendations, whatever we needed she was there for us. What a beautiful pleasant person. Fransisco and Roberto could not have been more charming and helpful. To the other staff members please forgive me for not mentioning you by name. Thank you. Picture perfect stay. Amazing stay at La Barbera. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. The view from our terrace was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! The hot tub was a plus! We would love to come back and stay longer next visit to the Amalfi Coast. Most beautiful B&B we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are lucky enough to book La Barbera. Do not hesitate! It is everything.. and more.

Amazing place , the team really look after you one of the best hotels have ever stayed at incredible. Book direct though not through expedia, issues with flights also booked through them nearly ruined the holiday and have spent hours on with chat agents to sort it out and they are no help at all.

Ein tolles Haus mit liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente. Unsere Zimmer hatten jeweils eine mega Terrasse mit Whirlpool und phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer sowie Positano. Das Team ist super freundlich und serviert jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns willkommen und genossen die familiäre Atmosphäre. Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wurde auf alle Fragen und Anliegen eingegangen, zudem gab es Tipps und Informationen. Eine herzliche Umarmung und ein kleines Geschenk zum Abschied rundeten eine wunderbare Woche ab.

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!
