This is the most amazing vacation I ever had. We booked a week-long vacation with newmarket holidays with stops in Florence Piss and Portofino. Excellent organization, and the tour manager, Danielle, was quite informative. I was very impressed by the hotel administration and staff. The room is very clean, not a 5-star but it's still acceptable. The pool area is very peaceful and clean.

Overall, I'd stay here again, but probably eat out for all meals. Hotel Bindi had a lovely pool that was relatively deep for the majority of it and was outside, so it didn't get any sun heat and was a little cooler than anticipated, but it was a good size and a pleasure to cool off after a long day of traveling and exploring. The room was large, with good facilities in the bathroom and a lovely big shower. We didn't have a balcony and the room could have been more modernized, but there were no real issues. The room was clean and had nice big windows, with a view over the hotel next door and a lovely German Shepherd dog in a roof garden. Wake-up call at 6 am was not requested by us. Wifi and air conditioning were both excellent. The staff was friendly and the hotel seemed well-staffed, with many servers at meal times. The food was adequate but not fantastic, and the only vegetable available for the evening meal was spinach, which was a little cold. The staff was very helpful and offered an alternative pudding, but it would have been nice to have had the choice in the first place and no alternate main. The breakfast selection was adequate, but the croissants and bread were bland, which was disappointing.

With a large group traveling to Tuscany, we stayed at Hotel Bindi. I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when helping a large group of people, and I appreciated the convenient location of the hotel. The restaurant's servers were also quite friendly and accommodating. From our hotel room window, we enjoyed a lovely view of Montecatini Alto, a hilltop village. The accommodation wasn't perfect. For example, the air conditioning was either turned off or not working, but we were able to cool the room by opening the window.
