Walking distance to the Basilica and plenty of restaurants to eat at. Borgo is quiet. Frederica is awesome. She’s very helpful. Lolita who cleans the room, goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this place.

Federica is a wonderful host to this beautiful, well located hotel. In the Borgo Pio, our favourite, it is close to everything. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms, what more could you want. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. PPMaas Vancouver, Canada

Friendly and helpful staff. Place was very clean.Cafes and McDonald within 2 minutes walking. St Peter’s Square about 2 minutes walking. All other sites within 20 to 25 minutes walking distance. Metro very close.Good to know cafes close early by around 8pm. Beds ok but loved their shower and towels.

This place is excellent, small but very cozy. It has everything you need for a stay in Rome. Despite being centrally located, it's very quiet, and you won't hear any noise at night. They have daily room service, making the beds and changing the towels. It's just two blocks from Piazza Sampietro, and one block away is the main street of Borgo, where you'll find many restaurants, gelaterias, and cafes with baristas. You don't need to rent a car to get around. The Ottaviano metro station (Line A), which takes you to Termini station and connects to different lines to go to the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain, is only a 10-minute walk away. You can walk about 20 minutes to the Trastevere neighborhood, a very picturesque area with many famous restaurants, such as Taberna 29, owned by Toni and Andrea, famous for their carbonara. Believe me, you can walk everywhere, and the most important thing for me was that I could go out and walk everywhere without having to think about driving or taking a taxi. I highly recommend it. Don't go with very high expectations of finding a 5-star hotel. I felt like I was visiting my family's house on vacation, but it exceeded my expectations. I'm someone who values cleanliness and peace and quiet when sleeping. You can buy things, there's a coffee maker, and there's a mini-fridge, good air conditioning, and a very nice bathroom with all the amenities. The hotel also provides a microwave for heating anything, so you can make coffee in the dining room

The room was spotless and exceptional. Federica provided excellent customer service and Lolita’s housekeeping was top-notch. The staff were professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to colleagues and friends. We’ll definitely book it again when we visit Rome with His Grace.

Lovely clean, spacious room. Staff couldn’t help enough. Lovely little community kitchen area. Amazing shower, much appreciated after a long day of walking around. Great location right next to the Vatican. Definitely would be our go to if we come back to Rome.

Room was big and clean. Shower had great water pressure and the top rain option and hand wand. 4 minutes walk from Vatican City which was super convenient for our trip. We were able to stop back to refresh and head back out to explore Rome. Perfect stay for our jubilee year pilgrimage. Check in and out were convenient and staff were friendly and helpful.
