Stayed at Boutique Hotel Galatea in Rome and had a great overall experience. The location is excellent—lots of cafes and restaurants right next door, and only about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which made getting around really easy. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond—they even packed us breakfast to go since we had early tours before breakfast service started, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is located on the 3rd floor of a gated apartment building. Rooms are renovated, clean, and nicely done. Beds were comfortable with memory foam pillows, and noise levels at night were pretty minimal. A few things to note: the mini fridge is NOT free and you’ll be charged at the end of your stay if you use it. The hotel is part of the BZAR group, which offers perks like free tours and even a tiramisu-making class, which is a fun bonus. If you’re arriving after hours, you’ll need to use a gate code to enter the building, then go up to the 3rd floor and use another code to access the hotel itself. Also, when we first arrived during the day, the woman working at the gate (not a hotel employee, but for the building) asked for proof of our booking—just something to be aware of so you’re not caught off guard like we were. Overall, a really convenient and comfortable stay in Rome with thoughtful service and great extras.

Breakfast is provided with a charge or added to reserves. Staff was amazing, specially Valentina at reception was amazing, patient and great with helping us improve our Italiano language skills. The stay was lovely. We wake early so the breakfast noise was not disturbing for us, but the walls are thin and noise carries so be aware. We loved this Boutique Hotel and enjoyed the extra experience they provide for persons who stay with them.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and charming. Siena and Valentina were fantastic in their hospitality. So much so that we cancelled reservations elsewhere for the second part of our trip through Rome to stay at the Galatea Hotel. They made us feel welcome and warm. We hope to visit again soon.

The staff here were lovely, and happy to go the extra mile to help out. There were tons of extras that guests could make use of and they offered tours and deals at local places. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. It was a little noisy during the day, but quietened up nicely at night. Great handy location.

Amazing hotel very well located. Close to major Roman monuments. The room was cleaned and it was super quiet. But the best part is the staff! 10/10 all the staff were super friendly gave us options for local restaurants and tips for how to move in the city. We will come back for sure! Also the breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs, various juices, bread, sweets and very good cappuccino!
