Casa Enzina is an excellent choice for independent travelers. First, location: it is a 5 minute walk from the Sorrento railway station and is about the same distance from the town's main street (Corso d'Italia). It is a guesthouse, not a hotel: Marco (the host) let us into the apartment when we arrived and explained the kitchen and laundry. Throughout our stay, I communicated with Marco via WhatsApp, and he was unfailingly responsive and helpful. The building itself is a very grand palazzo (probably dating to the early 19th century) that overlooks a spectacular ravine. The apartment was spacious and light, with a beautiful view across a garden. The climate-control worked beautifully. In sum, I recommend Casa Enzina unreservedly, and am already thinking about staying there again next year. (Note: the only reason I awarded just 4 stars in one category is that the washing machine wasn't working properly when we arrived; this caused minor inconvenience, but it was fixed by the end of the next day.)

Thanks to Marco, we really enjoyed our stay at this place. The room was clean, also large enough for us. Also the location was perfect to enjoy Sorrento and tour other places such as Capri and Amalfi!

Marco and Gianluigi went out of their way to make sure our stay in Sorrento was wonderful. Casa Enzina was located perfectly so that most everything was easy to walk to. The hotel is located inside of an old grand building that must have lots of history. I’d recommend this highly to anyone considering a stay in Sorrento.

We had a wonderful stay! Accommodation was clean, comfortable and great location walking distance to all the main restaurants and shops. Our host Marco was extremely hospitable assisting us in booking private transfers and even a lemon farm wine tasting lunch!

The room was in a beautiful historic building. Partially apartment and partially rented as hotel rooms. Our room was very clean and quiet. We had a late check in. We had to communicate with the property manager and he met us at the apartment upon arrival. Was very communicative the whole time.

We had such a wonderful stay in Sorrento at casa enzina. We’d highly recommend casa enzina, especially for a single person or a couple. We thought the room and location were super romantic. And the location was close to everything in Sorrento. Our host, Marco, was awesome. Made us feel so welcome.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and huge compared to all the other stays we had in Italy. All accomodations were met and Guiseppe was very helpful and kind. Room was warm, inviting, and the bathroom stunned. The view from the second floor was also impressive.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Enzina. Mariangela greeted me at the door when I arrived in town, even before the check in time. She and her staff were extremely helpful throughout my stay and went above and beyond. The room was beautiful, with high ceilings and beautifully designed. The building is gorgeous, on top of the hill, very close walking distance to the main centre. Very clean. I will definitely be returning!

Great location, comfortable room with kitchen and dining area, and responsive communication. No elevator (bags up two flights) but overall an excellent stay within 10 minutes of most places. You’ll need to contact them with your arrival time to arrange the check-in as there’s no front desk.
