Our hostess, Serena, was great!! She helped us with parking and dinner suggestions. We arrived in the morning, and she invited us to eat breakfast! Her hospitality was impeccable. We can’t wait to return to Lecce!!

Casa Mamma Elvire was perfect for our two night stay in Lecce. Serena was so friendly at check in and very helpful with maps and suggestions. Our suite was lovely and having an outside area to relax in was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic with delicious homemade delights and fresh coffee (thank you for our mokas). Lecce is a wonderful walkable city.

Nous avons passé 1 nuit chez Mamma Elvira. Très bon accueil sur place et également par messagerie avant notre venue. Belle chambre, grande et propre. Très bon petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux et faits maison. Le tout pour un prix correct. Nous conseillons sans problème. Vous pouvez manger également chez mamma elvira cucina ... excellent.

Thank goodness we trusted the reviews that said to “stop searching and book this place.” Our family of 4 had a wonderful 5 night stay. The location is excellent, the apartments are spacious and clean. The breakfast alone makes it an easy “yes.” The staff is what makes the experience. They communicated well prior to our arrival. They were invaluable resources to us for travel plans and questions. We felt right at home. We began as strangers and left as friends.

Casa Mama Elvira was a delightful experience. It is a very old property, with many stairs and beautiful finishes. The staff is warm, welcoming, and out to please. This is a family owned business, and the family is involved from early morning until night. There are several restaurants available, and it is a quick walk to the old town. We drove a car there and parking can be a challenge in the old town area. But once you’re settled, it was a great experience.

One of the loveliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful large rooms, quiet AC and phenomenally good home-made breakfast. Were this in northern Italy you’d pay at least double for this level of luxury.

I had a wonderful five night stay. Everything was beyond my expectations, including having a very large room with its own terrace. Breakfast was great and the staff, particularly Paola, were so gracious and welcoming. She had great recommendations for day trips by train, including Otranto. At the end of my stay, they arranged for a taxi to the airport.

What can I say about this amazing place. From the moment I got there till I left it was amazing. It is one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. Paolo met me and even before I had lots of messages explaining how to get to the casa. The room was amazing, I stayed in an apartment. It was close to everything and an easy walk to the train station. It was very safe as was travelling on my own. The room had everything I could need. It was very clean. The breakfast was amazing and I only had to ask if I needed anything. I am gluten free and I had a lovely treat everyday and even a special cake made for me. Talk about above and beyond. Lucky if you get a cake in a packet in England. Help with getting around was given. I had the best stay here and I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this one was special. It is quiet and very private but most importantly safe. Thank you once again for my making my stay special.

Was a great stay. Serena was a fabulous host and the suite was fantastic. Spacious, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Location was great walked everywhere. We took the train for an overnight stay so it was the perfect location if you don’t have a car.
