this was a fantastic location close to malcesine centre (about 5-10 minute walk) if you book a Lakeview balcony you will have a stunning view every day and will be able to watch the sunset over the mountains. the location is compromised by being on the busy road circling the lake but if a little road noise wont put you off this is the perfect place. I complimented the staff on how kind and helpful they are as well as how clean the place was. this is definitely a business that takes pride in what they provide. drinks from here are cheap and the garden around the pool is beautiful. This is one of the best places I had seen and I was highly impressed by the fact it's only a one star hotel. I would stay here again, definitely. I do not think we will get the same warm welcome, good value and ideal location anywhere else so close to the lake.

The room that my wife and I were in, at the rear of the hotel was quiet, airy and spacious. Rooms at the front of the hotel are next to the busy Lake Garda main road. The rooms at the rear of the building, each with a balcony, overlook a well maintained swimming pool and garden area. The breakfast room is again bright and airy and well stocked with a range of provisions giving a good 'continental' breakfast. There is no air conditioning in the hotel but the provision of a large ceiling mounted fan in the bedroom area was more than sufficient to keep the temperature comfortable during the mid September period. The amenities, of the hotel, are enhanced by the helpfulness and attention of the owners. Like other reviewers I am amazed that this hotel only rates one star.
