Casa Santo Nomine di Desu is another favorite hotel. The rooms are modest but cozy and silent. Many of them overlook a larger garden area, perfect for a picnic lunch, a glass of wine, or contemplation. Private bathrooms and shower areas are enclosed by a common atrium. The rooms were clean, poorly lit, and only had a few electrical outlets. There are many common areas on the property with books and a to. Breakfast is a decent treat at the convent refectory. The staff is kind and helpful. If you need time to contemplation, prayer, medication, or just a glass of wine in the garden, this may be the spot for you.

I spent one night at Casa Santo Nomine di Desu. I reserved a simple room with a private external bathroom and shower, which was located down the hallway and had other private bathrooms adjacent to it, making it a little scary to leave the room to go there, but it was very clean. The room was simple but big enough for one individual and had a view of the garden and the neighborhood rooftops. There was some noise from people passing through the corridors, but it was not excessive. Due to the old convent and many of the elements are still there, the hotel has a vibrant vibe. There are numerous public rooms to discover as you move along the floors there is also a large yard outside. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff was pleasant. The price, which was less than 30 euros in February, was the best.

Excellent stay, we spent about 14 nights exploring the city, and we have a wonderful sleep. On hot days, air conditioning is a blessing. The staff was kind and the room was clean. The garden was stunning. The rooms are a little bit dated, but this was obvious online.

We stayed in room 1. There was a lovely garden view and a very spacious attached restroom. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were charming, clean, and comfy. Breakfast was also delicious. Our most memorable meal was at Trattoria Carmine just around the corner. The location is quiet and away from the center of Florence, yet within walking distance. After the overwhelming crowds in the center, it was great to return here.
