Daniel was fantastic he contacted us before we were due to arrive to see what time we were arriving and said if the room was available we could go straight in and it was just after 1200 fantastic. Really good location for everything the only slight negative due to our age more than anything and nothing that could be done as this is an old building the stairs 4 floors was difficult with luggage. However a brilliant place to stay in Florence

Location - 5/5 - in pedestrian area, 5 minutes from the bridge, museums, duomo and everything you want to see in Florence. Amenities 5/5 - the property has been renovated, located in an old building but the rooms are new and the bathrooms are great. When we changed rooms we didn’t have a mini fridge in the new one. Staff 4/5 - the staff was great, however, I am rating it a 4 not because they are not helpful, but because this is not like your average business hotel that has staff at the lobby 24/7, but they are very helpful. I will say you have to be at breakfast at the time you select when you first check in. We had asked for 9:00 am but after our first night (long flight from Florida), we ended up going at 9:45 as we overslept. The lady was not happy and told us that it was late but she would still serve us (even though the breakfast is served from 8-10).

This hotel is unique and easy to access to all must see spots. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich and no limit. I was happy to book this place for its location in the center of the old town. When feel hot bad tried we were able to walk short distance back to the room for a brief rest even a nap. I wish the hotel continues booming and has a good business.

Such a wonderful location in the heart of town. So convenient!! Beautiful, spacious rooms which was a wonderful change from our previous hotel! Staff was very pleasant and helpful! We had a terrific breakfast every day! We highly recommend staying here! A hidden gem!!

Our kind host Daniel met us at the door and helped with the luggage. The room was lovely and quiet and in a perfect location, busy and close to the main piazza. Florence is a very walkable city. We felt very safe. Breakfast was served just outside our room, in a cozy sitting area. We chose what we wanted the night before, and were treated to yogurt with fruit and granola, croissants, coffee and tea, juice, and ham and cheese omelets. We loved our stay. Note: there are a lot of stairs, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

One of the coolest places I ever had the pleasure of staying at!! I’d give 10 stars if I could. Excellent location!! Extremely clean and wonderful staff!! A 14th century structure with all the best modern upgrades! Located right on the main street and about a 2 minute walk from the duomo - yet, with huge rock walls and double-pane windows, we didn’t hear any of the crowd below. Step out the door and you have shopping, cafes and restaurants within steps!! The host was super nice, professional and so accommodating. Comfy bed and amazing upgraded bathroom!! I dig the big shower - only shower I’ve experienced which is better than mine at home! If I’m ever lucky enough to return to Florence, I’ll definitely stay here again!! Arrivederci!

Beautiful hotel with an incredibly polite and welcoming staff. The receptionist, Robbie (Rebecca), was outstanding and truly made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, and if you book a water-view room with the mountains in the background, the scenery is absolutely surreal. Although the hotel is located directly across from the train station and you can hear the trains, it didn’t bother my wife or me at all—the breathtaking setting more than made up for it. I would absolutely come back and stay again without hesitation. Adam G

Our hosts were the highlight of our stay, as they were so kind and made us feel so welcome. The room itself (Honeymoon suite) was beautiful, with some exposed stone, but with modern finishings. Lounging in the room was almost as good as exploring the city! Breakfast was also fabulous, prepared with care. There are a few flights of stairs to the property but the hosts are willing to help bring bags up. Location couldn't be better.

Was everything it should have been - clean , comfy, good breakfast, very nice people working there. The only negative was my 71 year old wife wasn't keen on the 4 flights os stairs.

Fantastic room and staff. The owners were very helpful and always available. The location was amazing. We were in a quiet area that was about 1 block from major sites. Walkable to everything.

This is the place to stay if you want to see the sites in Florence. It is literally next to the Duomo and all the amazing stores and restaurants. Even though the streets are noisy- you will not hear anything when in the hotel. It is on the third floor and has no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up and down the stairs. Breakfast is fresh and wonderful and the staff are very helpful and kind.
