We absolutely loved our stay at the Excelsior. It has the most beautiful poor area I had ever seen. The rooms and hotel in general have a bit of that old fashioned Italian vibe which I loved but the pool was everything ! We certainly will stay here again if we come back to Taormina.

We loved our stay here! The staff were very friendly and we were able to even check in early. The breakfast had many options and the bar was also great for a nightcap. The pool is spectacular with panoramic views and plenty of loungers. The water wasn’t too cold and they keep it clean. It’s really the views though that make it worth the walk. The room was nice and big with a large bathroom. If you are driving we found parking at Porta Catania which is right beside the hotel which allows up to 48 hours (paid of course). Once you park you just go up to level 7 and you are in Taormina! Definitely recommend this place to make your trip to Taormina even more special.
