The be is situated between mountains and fruit gardens. A pleasant location to stay for one night or maybe longer. Breakfast was good, no scrambled eggs or anything like that, but bread, etc., was sufficient for us. On our way to Tuscany, we stayed here for one night. We had three beds, one for our three-year-old daughter. The room was clean and had a nice balcony with a beautiful view. There is a very nice restaurant nearby.

We wanted to stay in volcano, nothing seemed to work, we were driving, it was a busy town with few parking options. This was a nice compromise, close enough to town about 2030 minutes by car. I was a tiny child and we were quite comfortable with a delicious breakfast and a few good restaurants nearby, some within walking distance. It was nice to be in the mountains. We would stay there again.

At the end of a trip through Austria and Italy, we stayed for two nights. Our hostess was pleasant and accommodating, and the room provided us with views of the nearby apple orchards and mountains above Mercone in the distance. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and plentiful. Nice coffee as well. The comfort of mattresses isn't a regular occurrence in italy, and we found that it gave us a comfortable night's sleep. If you are driving, be prepared to pass by on the mountain road to Merino, the views are stunning, and the small villages are really appealing. They were obviously designed prior to war, so be prepared to squeal and give off on oncoming traffic where necessary. But what a fantastic experience. Although this is a great value stopover, the region would definately satisfy a much longer stay. Recommended!.

The room is clean, with a nice view, a friendly person's fridge and drinks for a reasonable price, and a tasty breakfast, but the room's air conditioning is not enough for keeping it cool. They also have a fan, but it's not enough to keep us cool at night. Really dated room.

We spent 7 nights at this be and had a great time. It is located in a peaceful area with a breathtaking view of the apple trees and mountains from the balcony. The location is excellent for hiking in the mountains and visiting wineries. Numerous wonderful and challenging hikes are accessible within minutes of driving. The proprietor, the lady, is quite helpful, eager to give you the information you need, and speaks excellent English. We had a double room, and it was huge enough for us! There are numerous excellent restaurants close by as well!.
