A beautiful property! Everyone was kind and welcoming, very helpful. The rooms were tight but tidy; breakfast was expansive and delicious. The pool is well-maintained and well-staffed. The shuttle bus into the city is incredibly convenient and runs nearly all day/night. My only complaint: the fitness center is very small and requires a reservation limited to one hour, and it does not open until 8:30. A lovely stay all-in-all!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and offers breathtaking views. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and every detail made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Hotel Aminta and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This hotel sits on top with an amazing view! Few things to consider taxis are $35 euros (cash or card for fee) but if you call and ask there is a shuttle that operates from 9AM to 11PM to go to town. To come up is starts at 9:30 AM. So if you fly into Naples take train there to Sorrento is $5 euros. You can walk up the street to parking lot where shuttle drops off and picks up. The hotel has free breakfast 7am-10am, loved the choices, nightly dinner with gorgeous view with reservations 7-9:30 pm every night. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is truly breathtaking. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly definitely recommend!!!

Overall this hotel is excellent. The whole hotel is spotless and beautifully appointed. All the staff are superb (special mention for all the restaurant and bar staff) The dining room and outside terrace are fantastic and the food is excellent, although a little expensive (having written that with the beautiful surroundings and superb service I think this is to be expected - you get what you pay for is the saying). The hotel is quite high up which leads it to having superb views of Mount Vesuvius, the Bay of Naples and the surrounding areas but is also a little inaccessible other than by taxi, bus or the complimentary hourly shuttle which is laid on by the hotel. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and helpful, however the shuttle only holds 20 people and sometimes everyone couldn't fit on or some people were standing which was a little uncomfortable going around all the curvy bends in the narrow roads, also not ideal for a tall guy like me. (I'd suggest a second or bigger shuttle). The pool is beautiful and always clean with sunbeds and brollies always available any time of day, a special mention for Nello, the pool guy, who greeted us with a smile and towels every day and even moved the brolly around to give us sun or shade. I'd fully recommend this fantastic hotel for adults and older children who are good swimmers (the pool is accessible by steps in a small shallow end but quickly becomes very deep with no exit ladders in the deep end).

Absolutely wonderful experience! I am a solo female traveler and this hotel was perfect, stunning views, safe, excellent staff, and perfect pool. My only feedback would be to have 24/7 gym as I was unable to get a reservation and it unfortunately did not open till 830am which I am an early riser so it would have been nice to use the gym but other than that the stay was perfect.

This hotel is marvellous. First impressions were excellent from front of house staff, very welcoming including the porter who helped move my car to a safe spot. Room was lovely in the villa with a nice balcony and view. Very clean hotel and pool with constant attention to cleaning or maintenance. Very attentive pool attendant and bar staff during the day. Restaurant is very good with excellent food and brilliant staff, so welcoming. Nice bar with a great view over Sorrento, Vesuvius and the bay of Naples All in all 5 Star.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Aminta! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and was cleaned everyday. The shuttle into town was very convenient and made it very easy to go back and forth. Overall great place to stay and I would recommend to anyone traveling to Sorrento!

We stayed in the annex building and the view was truly breathtaking. The room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels, bathrobes and towel warmers and we stayed in the balcony suite. It always smelt so good on our walk over because of the lemon garden and the whole hotel staff made our trip truly unforgettable. Towards the end of the trip the staff anticipated how we would like our coffees and I have never had such great hospitality in a hotel! I hope to return one day to this beautiful hotel!

The Grand Hotel Aminta was a great base for our recent trip to the Amalfi coast. High up on the hill, it overlooks Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and downtown Sorrento with breathtaking views. Their shuttle into town was very useful and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast buffet included daily. The entire staff is amazing. Special kudos to Rosella at the front desk, Ernesto, Dennis and Pietro in the restaurant. We had a lot of delicious meals there. It was really hard to leave such a beautiful place. Hope to return again.

Beautiful place and excellent staff. Dinner was superb and espresso martinis were excellent. A very enjoyable stay. If I have to say a negative it is a drive back into the city but the shuttle drivers have nerves of a steel and they are on time with their schedule.
